General Election - July 2024

This appears to be the rumour on Sky. An easy win for Starmer and some big names losing their seats. The Country needs a change but is it going to get one? The thought of seeing that annoying Beth Rigby for 6 weeks though is a horrifying thought.

"I don't recall Remain campaigning on a ticket of "" If you vote to leave, our politicians, media and civil service will completely ignore your wishes and do everything in their power to fuck things up thereafter"". If they knew (KNEW) that would be the case, at least they should have been open (I was going to add ""and honest"") about it, they may well have won. Once again, the Brexit referendum was fine. What those ""in charge"" did after the result verges on criminal disrespect for the country and it's democratic standing. Two very different things that only a simpleton would try to merge. If there was no leave result for them to fuck up is no defence of their actions. The Tories quite rightly got hounded out of office, as would have happened to Labour had they overseen such fuckeries."

"Apart from proving everyone who said it would be a total failure absolutely right, how has Brexit been a success then?"

If the likes of Swiss were ever going to get over Brexit they would have done so by now. Guess the sorry cunts are lumbered with their bitterness til the very end. Shame that.

"‘didn't pan out the way they felt entitled it should.’ Hmmm, I would imagine that the ‘embittered Brexit losers’ feel that Brexit turned out EXACTLY the way they felt it would, what they have a problem with people like you who think it’s ok for politicians and self serving cunts like Farage who sold the country a big fucking lemon and can’t bring themselves to be honest about it. But do carry on with your inane, unfounded, utter bollocks, at least someone thinks it worked out well."

"Hah! Look at all the embittered Brexit losers, still whinging 8 (EIGHT) years after a democratic process didn't pan out the way they felt entitled it should. Yet, in those intervening 8 (EIGHT) years, not one of them has come up with an example of proof as to how Brexit has negatively impacted them - personally. Neither have the media who still lead the gang of losers by the nose - just rumour, gossip & hearsay. Brexit was not a failure, it was democracy in action. What is a failure is the way the country has been managed since Brexit - but that's a separate issue and does not lie at the feet of the result of that Brexit referendum. Hasn't the leader of the party containing several million Leave voters already said that there is no way back into the EU or Customs Union for the UK, so, maybe those still carefully wishing for such a scenario should have voted into power a party that had that option on it's manifesto. Extra ""paperwork"", you say? Do fuck off! Don't you have computers & the internet in your life? What the fuck were you doing during the 4 years the entitled gobshite gang tried to get the democratic result nullified, picking your nose & playing Angry Birds?"

"Well maybe write to the people who carried out the survey H&P. Tell them they’ve incorrectly used the word divided, when they should of course have said consensus. What with 41% thinking one thing, and 30% the other. I could be wrong about your garden, bet there’s empty cans and all sorts. Maybe bung a photo of it up on that site of yours, with all those freak looking bods on it?"

"You have totally failed to show there is no consensus behind the ban on further North Sea oil exploitation because the text you selected does not support your case and because you are quite objectively wrong. As for my garden, bet on - you know what they say about a fool and their money."

"You stated something that is not true, and have persisted via twisting words, until they can’t be twisted anymore, as any sane person can see that they don’t stack up. Only a chronic narcissistic…. As for the gardening, absolutely, finishing bits to a pond we’ve put in for hopefully frogs and newts. I do take pride in my garden, you’re right. I wouldn’t for instance dream of pissing in mine. Then again I’m not a great green environmentalist like you. My bet is on yours being a fucking tip."

"Yes, anyone who can read will soon tell your choice of supporting text was either childishly sloppy or calculated to help the thickos on here identify with you. Doesn’t really matter - the difference between the consensus you refer to and mine is perfectly obvious and incontestable in sensible debate."

"I don’t need to engage with you, to make a fool out of you. You do it all by yourself on various threads on a daily basis. 41% in favour of something, 30% against and the rest undecided. The authors of the survey itself using the word ‘divided’ in the header. Only a chronic narcissist would persist with the statement that there is a consensus. Which of course to you will represent a perfect platform."

Of course we share the same world. And that’s the nub of it because you have obviously adopted a time-wasting strategy with the intention of making a fool of anyone still willing to engage with you. Well done - it’s clearly got you where you are now. Why not do some gardening instead?

"In essence I think the problem we all seem to have, is that we don’t live in the real world, where Pickle not only abides from, but is spokesman for. Dispute all evidence to the contrary."

"I’m not in a hissy fit H&P. As far as I can remember I haven’t been in ‘hissy fit’ since the age of 5 or 6. If you think stuff like this is something to get in a ‘hissy fit” about, then that says more about you and the people you knock about with. You spotted shit as truth, not like the first time you’ve done it either."

“ It’s certainly a truth that the elected government’s pledge to ban the extension of North Sea oil exploration is supported by a large body of opinion” No it isn’t true at all. You’ve made that up.

"It’s certainly a truth that the elected government’s pledge to ban the extension of North Sea oil exploration is supported by a large body of opinion that forms a public consensus. It is also true that stating this simple truth sends you into a hissy just like when Lammy happens to mention that he is a living example of how a descendent of slaves can become a minister in HM government. People also believe we really need to get educated and take responsibility for the planet and each others wellbeing - steady on, there’s a good fellow, here have a glad of water…"

"If it’s nothing to offer, I’ll take that over holding up things as truths, that are nothing of the sort. And still trying to hold them up as truths, using a distortion of language. Maybe cool down and go for another swim? You could get back and mention something about how hot it is, with a ‘subtle’ hint towards global warming. It never gets boring."
