You seem to forget Moyes was a direct reason why we needed to spend 1.5b on new players, and still needs a couple more.
So turn it in you idiot

Its not La Liga. Dont like Townsend but agree when he says we dont have the legs in midfield for the Premiership.
We should have lost 7-1
Only Wan Bissaka looked decent.
Kudus was decent but ruined his day by getting sent off.
We need legs in midfield. When numpties like me see it you wonder what Lopetegui and Steidten were thinking?
Carry on with defending like that and Lopeyegui will be gone by xmas.

Agreed southbank. Although his CV is decent so I see the logic, it’s just not happening though.
This is becoming the kind of performance that gets managers sacked.
Goose - It's really interesting: his CV is only 'good' because of the (club and country) names on it: Spain, Real Madrid, Seville and Wolves.
But he only got the Spain job because he'd done well at u-21 level - which is like Carsley getting the England job. Prior to that, he oversaw the longest trophyless drought of Porto's president's tenure - before getting sacked in January.
After Spain, he got sounded out by Real Madrid (who, let's not forget, have appointed some dismal managers in recent years - including a long-past-his-best Benitez), and was exposed as hopeless and sacked within two months of the season starting.
He then went to Seville and did OK - won them a trophy, but they have always prioritised the Europa and he inherited one of the best squads in Spain. Got sacked after another poor start the following season.
ent to Wolves, mid-season and steadied the ship in a bang-average league. People forget they only finished mid-table. But fell out with the top brass before the following season started - and left.
He's never stayed anywhere and built anything in his football career.
What he has always had, in Spain, is a group of sycophantic acolytes within journalism who he's friendly with - and they have consistently promoted his mediocre talents. Like a Spanish Steve McLaren. That William Bellend being among his biggest brown-tongued advocates.
Maybe he'll come good for us, like he did (briefly) at Seville. But I doubt it. History shows he's failed far more often than succeeded. We have appointed the Spanish Steve McLaren.

COYI was spot on pre season with his views on Lopetegui.
Time to get the Moyesiah back.
( it won’t happen )
You wanted Moyes out years ago after losing to Brighton at home, so turn it in.
Though I agree Lopetegui has to go.

The damage was done at HT when Postecoglou addressed his problems and we left ours on the pitch. We cant go on with Soucek and Paqueta in the same lineup. They came out second half and blew us away before we could react. Luckily we kept it to 4 conceded.
We need to spend seriously AGAIN, this time to bolster that midfield.

Potentially half agree. Moyes is not the answer and it was the right time for him to go. But Lopetegui is a poor choice and shouldn't have been hired.

Legitimate sending off. Spurs are a team that can stick 4 past you. First half was ok and as you'd expect really away at the 3rd best team in the league on performances so far.
But...the keeper doesn't suit the system, Paqueta is a shadow, Antonio is half the player he was at his peak, Emerson can't perform in either box, and the lack of a true energetic number 8 also remains. And we panic overpaid for a slow German carthorse who is to take over Ings mantle when he's out of work at the end of the season.
Plus we signed a manager because he was out of work and not because he was the best we could get if we'd pushed the boat out.
Pluses? Kilman and Todibo are improvements. Wan Bissaka is an improvement. Rodriguez a decent squad filler. And we do knock the ball around nicely.
I'm worried that Lopetegui's success with this model came before the advent of the type of football 85% of the teams are playing now....box midfields, overloads, intense pressing, etc. Slower possession based build up when teams sit back and give you space from a counter attacking low block is fine, but this new modern football is like a Rocky fight, and you have to be strong enough quick enough and physical enough to go tpe to toe.
Bottom line....Moyes was done but this guy isn't the right answer, and key deficiencies in the squad have been ignored despite what feels like a big spend. Some of that is on Moyes, as we had to pad out a squad of about 14. Some of it is on Paqueta which robbed us of the extra 80m we needed to perform the full rebuild. And some of it is on Steidten who didn't prioritise by urgency.

Bissaka worked his socks off all day. He is my motm.
Areola, Antonio, Soucek, Paqueta hets 1 point.
The rest 3
Lopetegui -1 for not addressing the visible problems at HT

How many yellows did the cunts get for feigning injury? If you see a fight in a pub or in the street, except when there is a knock out punch, how.many people hit the deck. Yes Kudos was silly, but the behaviour of the shitcunts was worse.

Play acting and VAR have ruined the game

We've wet the bed badly here at our main rivals. This performance is an unacceptable on every level. Our slow ponderous squad has been shown up badly and now the only bright spot looks like it will be missing for some games after a stupid sending off.
4-1 is flattering us to be honest.
Time is running out for Lop, but we all know Sullivan does not act so we're stuck with this.
