US Election, November 5th

And a bit eerily and worryingly Bonfire night!!!! Let's hope it doesn't descend into that though 🤞

Never know an election be in the news so much, all over Aussie TV and expect the worlds TV as well, so many (non Septic's) have an opinion on it as well? WTF

fuck knows who wins, personally don't care as both sides seem like a pack of cunts, so IMHO there will be no winner for the American people, the best we can hope for is that one side wins convincingly and so less chance of it kicking off but i bet whomever wins none of the doomsayers predictions will come to pass in any shape or form, it will just be business as usual and snouts in the trough for those associated with the winning side.

America will still be a freak show and your average American no better or worse off than before.

Has pickled held his hands up and admitted he got this wrong yet?

The geezer nutted a bullet and defiantly survived, then went and played Golf before surviving yet another assassination attempt. Of course he was always going to win.

Trump won't admit it was a mistake because he's not going to pay for the olgarchisation of his administration. But the public is going to have to while Musk laughs all the way to the bank.

Like with Hilary Clinton it seems when it comes to the crunch those marginal voters will go more conservative and not trust a woman in power. This is why I predicted a Trump win.

Talk us through this mistake of allowing Musk to take over Trump's bid for the swing states, Pickled.

I'm all ears.

Wasn't it 7 wins out of 7 for those states?

They'll get the same encouragement as I give to the fighters in Sudan in that war that's going on.

NONE.
Sudan? You have absolutely got no clue whatsoever, have you.

No one is saying that.  He's saying we shouldn't be encouraging them to do so.  Wasn't that obvious?

so he's just happy that they'll no longer be supplied with the tools that give them a fighting chance, so they will now be more likely to surrender quicker? As it stood they were in a position of a stalemate at worst and could have maybe at least negotiated so sort of bittersweet peace deal, they won't get that now.

some Putin apologists do love the veil their support for him as faux concern for Ukraine
That's one of the issues with your lot.

You can't understand when no one picks a side.  It literally blows your mind.

OSD probably thinks all of victims of Stalin's political purges were guilty too.

If you or I had done what Trump was alleged to have done do think the Democratic Party's judicial arm would have lifted a finger to even investigate.

They went after their political enemies and in the end it bit them or their arse

Don't remember Stalin's purges being done in an open court for the world to see, with the defendants having access to the best council money could buy, but don't let your hyperbole stop you from wetting your knickers.

Yes, you are correct Stalin’s victims didn’t benefit from a free and fair trial, that isn’t the point I am making. I’ll also accept that Trump can be an unpleasant man.

But I’m sorry you missed or ignored the very import bit OSD, the bit about only prosecuting Trump because it was Trump. Once you accept that snipper is true, and it is true. The whole thing becomes about a two-tier justice system (where have I heard that before)

One rule for Trump and another rule for the rest of us, especially Democrats.

No of course you don’t want the more detailed, complex view on why you are not a man of peace if you believe the US should sponsor a Ukrainian surrender on Putin’s terms.

But those who understand the US’s real interests certainly do and I’m sure they will see to it that Trump, Vance and sections of the GOP understand as well.

Peace in Europe is still as important to the US as it ever was, and Trump is about to discover just how little room he has to manoeuvre on it.

I can see our Mayor has had his say, "An important reminder today for Londoners: our city is—and will always be—for everyone"

Except Jews of course.

Khan is all (ALL) that is wrong with modern Britain
