Clearly this is horrific. But a couple of comments.

The subtle cheating on every corner is astoundingly overlooked. Paqueta us nudged in the back by Timber on every single one of them. If you’ve played the game, you know a nudge in your back on your jump takes you our of the game. It’s Tony Pulis style football. 

If that second one is a penalty, we might as well tell keepers they now have to stay on their line. It was a graze if anything at all. That wanker Taylor didn’t even see it. Gave it to the acting from Gabriel alone, which is appalling from one of our so called best refs. 

As long as we show some fight and some skill I don’t really care what happens here tbh. We take some of this attacking form Leicester etc and we will destroy them. 

I think not having Loppy on the touchline has hurt us defensively as someone needs to tell Antonio not to mark Gabrielle or change the marking system at corners. Maybe that’s not coming across. 

The aim here is to not get anymore yellows. The game isn’t winnable / drawable so we have to think about the next games.

Some of us did suggest in a lot of games that Alvarez will be ahead of Soucek.  Paqueta has gone back to thinking he's a dandy and been responsible for 2 goals.

The ref killed the game off as a spectacle. Very harsh. 

Back to where we were before Newcastle.  We need legs in central midfield desperately. 

We've taken too long to waken up, but Taylor is a fucking shocking ref. Set the scene when we should have had a corner in the first few minutes (Bowen could have kept it in but let it run out) and he decides to give a goal kick.

Minimal contact on Saka for the first penalty, dodgy second penalty imo, and awful defending for the Havertz goal.

the first pen was the softest, was there enough contact? - technically it can be and was given, with VAR not overruling the on field decision - but soft. Thought they were raising the standards for awarding pens.

Defensively naivety in the extreme.  That last pen was very harsh but its Antony Taylor.  Whats Fab meant to do just watch?

Not really fabs fault. The fact that there was no West Ham player challenging Gabriel says it all. They work those corners so well that the guy has a free header. At least fab has a go. Areola would have just stood there.
