I must be in a minority. I didn’t think either were penalties. Definitely could have been given though.

From their side, both Docherty and Gomes could have been sent off. They got away with a lot.

Nerve-wracking game. Nine points clear now, and unbelievably within one point of Man Utd and two of Spurs and Newcastle.

Huge relief to get 3 points but we were very lucky with ref and VAR calls going our way.  

No real standouts but AWB probably best yet again and Bowen with a cracking goal to save the day.  

As mentioned, Stavros got away with 2 incidents that on another day or if we were away would likely be given.  

Doesn’t really change much. We’re mostly lacking real stamina and “legs” in midfield.  Look at AWB, quick to everything, wins most of the marginal stuff on 2nd balls and 50:50s.  We need a midfielder or two with some of those qualities and it would transform us imo.

Anyway, Im simply grateful for any win just now and fitting for Antonio

It’s such a weird league. There’s nothing in that performance that makes me think we’d get anything from Brighton or Bournemouth. 
yet we’re only 2 points behind the mighty Man U and Ange’s “Cruyff like” magical Spurs! 

so there the stats that keep Loppy at the club. Sullivan looks at that and thinks what’s the point in changing it now?  As you were… shame. 

Loppy will say we are missing a striker I asked for (Duran?) and you gave me Fullkrap etc .. so that’s why I have problems etc

Stay of execution. Made hard work of a poor wolves side and just about deserved it. Had all the feel of a relegation six pointer but a win is a win. Hard to see us beating Bournemouth or Brighton given their form
