Until West Ham find out mojo again, a game against a David Moyes managed side will always have some kind of extra significance.
Layer on the pressure on Potter who looks like a dead man walking, and this game is under intense scrutiny.
It looks for all the world like Potter has two games, not to save his job, but to buy a stay if execution, against Everton and Arsenal, made none the easier by these two being amongst the best set piece side in the league....the Hammers clear achilles heel.
The stats this far have backed up the eye test...West Ham ARE terrible at defending the box, none of the keepers help out on crosses, and we give up corners willy nilly.
But if Potter is to cling on, nothing but a win here will do.

Predicted LineUp:
With Everton's prowess at set pieces, Soucek's absence, and Potter's love to tinker, I expect him to fuck around with things and go to a back five.
Areola
Mavro. Kilman. Scarles
KWP. JWP. Diouf
Paqueta. Fernandes.
Bowen. Fullkrug.
Subs: Hermansen, Todibo, Igor, Irving, Potts, Magassa, Summerville, Guilherme, Wilson
Predicted Score:
Everton: 3
West Ham: 1 (Bowen)

Love that Nuno is talking to all the players and giving feedback.
Big hug for Fullkrug which was interesting.
Good performance that probably deserved three points.
Prob challenged Fullkrug can you last a whole game! And he did bless him!
Is it me or did Guillherme look a bit overweight????

Did not look 100% utterly incompetent in our own third.
Good selection and decent subs in the moment.
Baby steps...

Fair to say that Nuno has added some bollocks to this side. Plenty of positives to take from it. Magassa looks decent and is what we've been lacking. Diouf was outstanding. Bowen took his chance. Summerville a nightmare for opposing defenders. Kilman's best game for a while.

Well deserved point. First hour was crap but last half hour we actually had a go at them.
Potts was brilliant when he came on, but Summerville was the motm.

Decent away point. Played some good stuff last 35 minutes or so. Pleased we went direct at times to keep it away from our defence, but did defend well second half bar the obligatory Mav wobble. Surprised Nuno took off Summerville though as felt he was a threat and also felt Wilson or Marshall should have been on for the fulgrug but pretty sure we would all have taken a draw.

Three days and one game and we already look like a big improvement on the crap that CPP dished up. Well done Nuno and all the players, apart from the Kraut and the bubble.

Well done all. Really well done Nuno under the toughest circumstances. The players attitude was also spot on and heads didn't drop under this manager when we went 1-0 down Away.
Summerville, Diouf our stand out performers.
Amd have some of that Moyes, embarrassed at Home by a coach who's just rocked up couple of days ago.
The Away Fans deserved that effort and performance.

Never will I ever again likely respect a point like I respect this one right now.
Good signs in the second half. Good to see Potts on too.

We’ve actually competed tonight. Been nastier. It’s a good first step. Much better starting line up and use of the squad/bench.
Some reasons for optimism.

Fernandes has had a good game.
What a difference from Potter, we've held our own and deserved a draw at least.
Been a good game.
