General Election - July 2024

This appears to be the rumour on Sky. An easy win for Starmer and some big names losing their seats. The Country needs a change but is it going to get one? The thought of seeing that annoying Beth Rigby for 6 weeks though is a horrifying thought.

everyone on here and the media seems pretty confident that labour will win. will they win 'enough' to have a majority?

"I’m shocked at just how many people are saying they won’t bother voting as both the main party’s are not worth voting for or don’t deserve it! Could be one of the lowest turnouts ever, if fact the real winner will be the numbers who didn’t vote. Expect labour to win and then beat the drum of a groundswell of support has seen them sweep the Tory’s to one side and into power."

"Lee Trundle 4:41 Fri May 24 Re: General Election - July 2024 The main one they use, when people say ""they didn't have ADHD in my day"" the come back is ""No, they did, it just wasn't diagnosed and children suffered in silence"" Bullshit, their were hundreds of kids unable to sit still at school, not able to concentrate or do simple tasks. The country is completely obsessed with mental health and excuses all lack of real parenting and teaching on any label they can find."

Swiss shows himself to be an idiot once again. The Joseph Rowntree Foundation is as red as red can be.

"I noticed Deb didn’t answer my question, no surprise there. If pressured I would say the reason why Deb is so keen to overlook the grooming and destruction of kids is because a vast majority of the perpetrators are brown and a vast amount of the victims are white and she comes from a hateful position of anti white racism. That’s the real reason. For Debs her hate of whitey is what drives her first and foremost, above all else no matter what. Get use to it because your next Government is gonna be full of people like Deb."

"I think you'll find that in modern politics (and on social media) ""the minority"", ""underprivileged"" and ""oppressed"" are full-on synonyms."

"Starmer is pulling everyones pants down, he and his party have yet to come up with any real ideas or policies. The sad fact is that he is so far ahead in polling not because he is a dynamic leader and his party is progressive it's simply because the Tories have been so shit. Sadly politics in this country is at an all time low and whoever gets in will look after the minority and not the majority."

my nephew is autistic and still non-verbal at almost 5 years old. his mum has just had it confirmed that the government will buy her a brand new (second) car so she can drive him around while her other half is at work.

"""Council do you know how long it takes to get a diagnosis if autism.and how they are assessed etc?"" Yes I do, my ex was a school nurse, she was attacked several times for not referring children where the parents insisted they had ""issues"" So, no, its not that I have no idea, I have far more of an idea than you. And the women at the gym openly admits she cheated the system, she's not a one off, and you are stupid if you think otherwise."

Assuming opinion polls are accurate and Labour form the next government can her constituents please ask Angela Rayner to stop performing her Sharon Stone impersonation during PM Questions. Such behaviour is unbecoming of a Deputy Prime Minister.

"Swiss, I am neither a Tory supporter or Willtell. Regarding your point about rich and poor and Labour and Conservatives, Have a look at the data showing the change in inequality over the last decades and Map the dates of the last Labour government to that data (1997 to 2010) :""Since the early 1990s, changes in inequality have been less dramatic than the change from 1979 to 1991. After falling slightly over the early to mid-1990s, inequality, as shown by the Gini coefficient, reached a new peak of 0.358 in 2009–10. Inequality fell in 2010 and has stayed relatively level since."" https://equalitytrust.org.uk/how-has-inequality-changed"

"And, as already pointed out, the UK electoral system favours parties that are actually offering policy rather than emotive slogans about foreigners. So you are well advised to reconsider if you are all uptight and thinking of wasting your vote with Reform."

"Keir Starmer ""I grew up working class. I’ve been fighting all my life. As Prime Minister, I’ll fight for you."" hahaha He grew up in Oxted. You know, the same place where all the Chelsea millionaire working class footballers live. And people like Debs lap all this up. hahaha!"

Wils 1:38 Fri May 24 Wils or you prefer Willtell ? The reason poor areas that vote labour are still poor is that the Torirs have been in power and divide between the rich and poor has increased. Anyone who earns less than 7 figure income and votes for these Tory cunts is a fucking mug. Party for the rich and deep the rich rich . Really keep to being a rape apolgist

I’m just questioning that the parties offering concrete policy are in any way evil while I am saying that playing on people’s reactive tendencies is not the way forward Violet. Oh and I’ve told you before - what is to do with me or not is none of your fucking business.
