"I enjoyed The Gold but there's no sexism, no racism, no sex, no drugs and very little violence but loads of class nonsense. Its woke villainry."

"Cheers Manuel will give Gold a shot. recently watched zerozerozero 8/10, detectorists 9.5/10, Babylon berlin 8.5/10, gave up on Echo3 too Hollywoodish and slow, watership down series 7.5/10, slow horses S02 8/10 ( plot not as tight as S01). Am starting Fauda S02, S01 was top notch and thanks to whoever alerted me on here that there was more than one series."

"I'm four eps into Gold, it's good but a story about a bunch of villains yet there is no swearing, sex, or violence :-) Strange how a few on the ringleaders died in the last year or so before this come out. Palmer was murdered a few years ago, leaving Noye as the only big player left."

"Started with 'Better' on iplayer and after 20 minutes of exposition I gave up and watched Gold, which, ironically, was much 'better'. Though according to reviews 'Better' get's better as the series goes on. But from those 20 minutes I watched, it would be hard not to be."

"Last of Us. Looks fucking great. Brilliant set design which really captures the feel of the game. Inexplicably the Joel from the game, who is a great character, is transformed into an incompetent fuckwit who can't do anything right and gets constantly shown up, outsmarted and ordered around by a child who has far less experience than he in everything they are doing. Real shame. I also think the girl is a piss poor fit for Ellie, who conversely to Joel they've made into a bit of a Mary Sue, but i guess that's Hollywood for you. Episode 3 was by an absolute mile the best thing about it. This week's wasn't so bad. No idea why they felt the need to make the kid deaf. Felt like another device to keep Joel as the dumb one in the team, to be honest rather than anything more substantial. Another episode of him being told what was going on and what to do by other people...."

the trailer alone for that 1923 shit (or whatever it's called) with helen mirren talking like Ian paisley is enough to stop anyone watching it

"I banged the drum massively for Yellowstone on here after the first couple of series. I've not found the time to get around to watch any of the 5th series yet, so I guess it was losing it's appeal to me in the 4th."

Yellowstone has played itself out now. Loved the first three seasons but has since has lost focus and become a bit meh.

Bad news for all you Cowboys out there. Rumours coming out of La La Land is Yellowstone is going to be knocked on the head. Costner wants out at the end of this season. And Paramount and Taylor Sheridan (The show creator/writer.) Wants to do another prequel. 1944. With Matthew McConaughey. So is this a good idea. Or is this cattle drive riding into oblivion.?

"I'm a nerd, so have played the games etc. Wasn't a fan of the second one at all. There have been lots of scenes in the show that have been exact carbon copies from scenes in the game Great stuff."

I’ve come into the series ni-on blind. So the issues a few of the fans of the game have. Doesn’t really bother me. The Walking Dead went down hill rapidly after the first season.(Maybe something to do with sacking Frank Darabont.) And The Last of Us 2 game split the fans right down the middle. So the ammo is already there for any change to any future series. I’m enjoying it. And would recommend it too anyone who has never had any previous with the games.
