"A few years old now but a few days ago a mate said that ""One Million Ways to Die in the West"" was on Prime and he said it was the funniest thing that he had ever seen. Better than The Naked Gun, Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Airplane. Intrigued I watched it and have to say I didn't laugh once! As soon as I saw Seth McFarlane was in it I knew it wouldn't be mu cup of Tea. Loved Ted but didn't know it involved Seth McFarlane at the time! Comedy is a personal thing but did anyone actually find this film funny?"

"Re The Outfit Mark Rylance is an incredibly talented actor. I first saw him in The Grass Arena, where he played a failed Boxer who turns into an alcoholic, sleeping in Glasgow's then famous Glass Arena (a homeless dossing area). I was utterly transfixed by his performance."

"Dalts - I won't lie I got a bit confused with what was going on with the tape and the significance of it, but that's typical of me losing focus, one reason why I always try to watch a film with subs if poss. But yes, just when you thought it was over.."

"The Outfit - Good watch, and something a bit different. Based in 1956 Chicago. ''I'm not a tailor, I'm a cutter''"

"DukeofDevo 10:43 Sun Apr 24 I know its a phrase thats thrown around like confetti, but I think that could be the worst film I have ever seen. Definitely top 10. Where our opinions differ, is that I would urge everyone to try to watch it if they can - you literally wont believe how bad it is given the money they must have thrown at cast, director etc."

Not always a fan of sequels or remakes but saw Ghostbusters Afterlife this evening and thoroughly enjoyed it especially with a handful of special appearances!

The Batman was more of detective movie. In fact he doesn’t do much . Dark and moody. A lot different from the Nolan trilogy. I liked it but preferred the later.

"chim chim cha boo 2:46 Yeah fella, hope The Northman is as good as it looks. I've always had a soft spot for Bjork. The Witch was quality, but gave up on The Lighthouse after about 30 mins. Perhaps I'll give it another go."

The Batman was decent but some scenes a bit too dark as in I couldn't make out what was going on also quite a bit of mumbling in it as well.

"MMG, I really fancy going to see The Northman as it is the latest film by Robert Eggers, the director of two folk horrors that I absolutely loved, The Witch and The Lighthouse, two very 'wordy' films where he got the dialogue of the times pitch perfect. Apparently when Eggers and the main character of The Witch, Ralph Ineson met up in London after the film was released they went for a goat curry to shake off Black Philip. Iverson said that he'd never encountered such a belligerent animal in his life and used to shit himself when he had to do a scene with him. Apparently it put him in hospital three times."

"Haven't seen it yet so don't shoot the messenger, but if you like vikings/norse mythology then The Northman looks the absolute bollocks."

D.C./Warner want to be seen as serious stories. While Marvel/Disney want to ram the weekly woke message down your throat. Both have sucked any fun and enjoyment out of the genre a long time ago. It seems the only fun left in it. Is over at Amazon with. The Boys.

"You nail it totally. The slo-mo accompanied by the ""haunting"" annoying songs/music just gets on your nerves!"

"Theatrical cut is abysmal. But it's bound to be as It was 2 different directors with different briefs. Snyder wanted his dull vision Weedon came in and was told to ""avengers that shit up"" and he tried to polish a turd by rolling it in glitter. The result was barely watchable. Then the pressure mounted by the smyder fans. They are vocal and fanatic. If he'd have released a 5 hour cut of batman having a shit in slo mo they would have loved it and claimed others ""just don't get it, go back to watching kids marvel films"" So he released the version he wanted. A 4 hour dull as dishwater snooze fest. Did we really need to se lois Lane getting coffee in slo-mo? No way would execs have allowed this to be released. It was supposed to be first part in a trilogy. Still the zealots love this and have no concept of emperor's new clothes."

"Mad Dog. Just finished it. Not sure if I saw the theatrical version, but for me the ""cut"" totally lacked humour. After all its it's a super hero film, not the Killing Fields! Maybe I'm getting old, my favourite film is Hitchcock's Rear Widow, which is basically two people in a room, but i can still watch it and still enjoy it. Sometimes less is more, simplicity is genius."
