"'What you discussed were peace terms that would have satisfied the Kremlin’s minimum requirements and every credible media source reported they were dismissed by Ukraine from the start' No they weren't. What I discussed was what was reported. I have no personal preference of outcome and aren't campaigning for one. I don't think Ukraine can win this war and force out Russia, no matter how much support. Eventually diplomacy will end this war. If it involves more compromise than was originally outlined it won't be me that's assisted the Kremlin's requirements."

"The peace terms were not 'dismissed from the start by Ukraine', utter nonsense. The terms were agreed, but relied on security guarantees which had to be signed by ALL parties (including UK, US and Russia as well as Ukraine). The US and UK refused to sign any security guarantees with Russia, but the reason has never been published."

"What you discussed were peace terms that would have satisfied the Kremlin’s minimum requirements and every credible media source reported they were dismissed by Ukraine from the start. The only issue has always been the support Ukraine receives in its struggle, and you have always, consistently passed on any Kremlin trope undermining that on here."

"""what you want is to peddle Kremlin disinformation about totally imaginary peace terms that actually would have amounted to Ukraine's capitulation. And just to drum up support for sabotaging support for its struggle against a brutal invader."" FFS. I don't support Putin or Russia and I'm not anti Ukraine. I don't have any imaginary terms for a peace deal. My posts have discussed what has been widely documented in western media. I have never once posted anything to 'drum up support' for, or 'sabotaging support' of either side. This is a football forum - the equivalent of a local pub. It's not the UN or a global news network. Your post is absolutely insane."

So apart from you talking bollocks like that, I insult you because, in your moral decrepitude, you support that brutal, subhuman invader at every opportunity. You sad fuckwit."

"‘The difference between them is that the US and Ukraine are allies, the US and Russia are not’ Exactly why the US have no interest in Gonzalo Lira, but exchanged a Russian arms dealer for a two bob lanky basketball bint."

Almost certainly being tortured according to whom? Tucker Carlson? What about Evan Gershkovic? Is he less likely to be tortured because Putin would never do such a thing?

Has Elon Musk taken note of Alexei Navalny and most Russian professional journalists and opposition as they do hard labour in Siberia? Or is that OK?

"We all seen the case of Gonzalo Lira? Some absolute bell-end yank ""journalist"" (YouTuber and shitposter) who's been nicked in Ukraine for pro-Russia content. Almost certainly being tortured. Gonna raise some interesting diplomatic stuff. A US citizen being held and probably mistreated by a US ally. Musk is getting involved now, its all over Twitter and I know some of you dinosaurs don't wanna hear it but that kind of thing matters these days"

Steve Bannon? Wasn't he only in govt for less than a year before he was sacked or resigned?

"To think the GOP used to be known as the solid geopolitics party; George Dubbia, Rumsfeld & Co. killed that, and along came Trump and Bannon to bury it without honours. Leaves an absolutely tragic impression in Europe."
