"RE: ticket sales/pricing etc. Also worth noting that maybe we've somehow got a bit 'blase' about group games in European competition, particularly against 'non premium' opposition with this being our third consecutive season. I'm sure if it were our first home game in Europe for some time it would be full, or if it were top tier opposition, but I suppose that's that 'fatigue' you see at perennial Europe sides when they aren't banged out in the group stage. Also every game is live on TNT of course so pub or just subscribing at home becomes really convenient/cheaper than couging up for group games."

The board need to look at who is setting these prices. when I first got my season ticket in the 80s you got the first home cup game included thats when there was not a lot of money coming into the club , now with the TV money coming in the club still try and ripoff there loyal fans."

I agree entirely re the pricing imho group stage tickets should be a basic 50% of a mid-category premier league fixture with a further discount for buying all three in one hit I'm paying £145 for the three home games which I think is a pisstake Still doesn't compare with last year's £61 for the return leg of an already won tie against opposition that was unknown at the time of booking.

Surprising level of apathy for tonight's game. Some of the ticket pricing is a little odd. Still plenty of seats @£15 and £20 available. £70 for the East and West stand is far too much given the oppo. Lucky if we get much over 45K which is way down on the attendances the first time we made it to the Europa League 21/22

"Yup- this one needs to be a banker win if we want to top the group and the games haven't been exactly thick and fast so far, so strongest side possible, surely. Do the hard work now and ease off if we can later in the campaign. We have just about enough in the squad now to rotate ok without forcing some players to play an absurd amount. We do have a run of six matches in 18 days coming up before the international break so you'd hope for a bit of rotation there but the break will be really handy. Lincoln is a good opportunity to rest a few or at least start them on the bench. We need everyone raring to go for the Sheff U, Freiburg, Newcastle run where it should be strongest XI all the way. Lots of good points on offer there and Newcastle are going to be feeling a bit of pressure I think."

I’m right next to the away fans and last season they made a bigger gap but it seems we are back to the old smaller gap. I’m expecting lots of missiles.

Good team Stubbo as we have to see how our reserves are doing. I reckon JWP will play and Kehrer will be RB. Possibly Benrahma instead of Cornet but we’ll see. The first choices will be on the bench to come on if we are in trouble but we really should be fine against a Serbian side. I’m not saying they will be a pushover but it will be a measure of how strong our squad is.

Taking my lad to his first ever European night tonight. Living in Bournemouth and getting down to the night games is a friggin nightmare especially with school the next day. But I thought he's got to be blooded at some stage. Hoping we get more than Spurs did for some of their group games. Need a decent atmosphere and a good result from a strong starting 11.

No scope to assume this is going to be an easy game - putting out a second-string XI to rest players would be very foolish.
