"Yeah, I was going to say that I hope he's not looking for inspiration from that bench when we go 2 down on the 70th minute. The cսnt will probably throw the boy on at that point if only to prove that you don't win with kids."

"Fingers crossed that he does not decide to use Ings or Cornet at the 70th minute , the predictable cսnt. !"

"I have to say I'm pretty disinterested in this tonight. European football which should be brilliant is fucking dire under Moyes. He has sapped the interest from me. He'd better be putting out a decent lineup after getting caught out last time, the arrogant Scotch cսnt. Fuck off Moyes."

"Bloke on Kumb who's a German sports journalist, he's a bit of a cսnt though Said something along the lines of ""If you think Aguerd is bad wait till you see this bloke"" Started to look like that, but then again our whole defence looks like it most matches."

"Agree- I clocked that in TM's post below too so I'm assuming he's playing and captaining tonight. Maybe he's just been a little unlucky especially with the deflection but two very costly mistakes in three games so far, which is a conern."

"Scorch - Oggy did the presser with Moyes, which is a pretty good indication that he's playing, though not necessarily. I agree with what you say though."

"Also, I really hope Oggy isn't playing tonight. I like the guy and he's been a great loyal player but he feels a little like an accident waiting to happen now. Assuming everyone is fit aside from Zouma, (can;t find if anyone is suspended?) then surely: Areola/Fabianski Coufal Aguerd Mavropanos Emerson Alvarez Soucek JWP Bowen Kudus/Antonio Paqueta Make the best effort to put this group to fucking bed as soon as possible. Nice break after Forest. They can go in this one and then that one. Win this and we just need to draw with Freiborg and beat Topola to win the group"

"Sir Alf 3:13 I'm going to have to disagree with that slightly. Bowen, Kudus, Benrahma. I think all three do do (or CAN do) those things you specify. However, I'd say what's lacking is the support play for when these players do get the ball in space or in the channels. Bowen at least seems to get more support or an option but he does have the pace to get behind the full back and cut it back. However Benrahma does not and almost all the time he has to either take on his player and hope to beat him one on one, or just pass the ball backward. Kudus seems to a be a little different class and can make things happen from deeper as well but can definitely play on the wing. I believe it's the lack of a holistic bold attacking strategy that lets us down. I know it's fashionable to knock Benny but I think he's often left on an island when he gets the ball and just has to cut back and pass the ball backward- that said he does bloody dither on it sometimes when I'd prefer him to just drive at the full back and try to beat him. I wonder if Moyes has told him not to. It's clear he doesn't really fancy him as a player anyway."

"Problem is that Moyes doesn’t know how to play differently in the “holistic” sense. He may want us to keep the ball better and do drills in training but he needs to have pace and movement ( he has never looked to recruit anyone with pace and movement and great team technique, they are expensive but he cannot see it as a priority for his system ?) He needs to get players running and moving off tge ball, creating channels to play thru tge press etc. and have his own team relentlessly pressing as a unit throughout. Does he have players for that? Will be pick them ? So it will be half baked and see us getting done on the counter as evidenced last season before Xmas and this season last few league games as we now concede for fun? He’s clueless."

"Agreed, we could win this tonight, but Moyes has to show some intent to win, not just not lose. If left to Moyes it’s alien territory. Hopefully TS and Heitinga have made their presence felt and we start seeing more positive performances."

Alfs - It's still wide open as far as second spot is confirmed in that group. School of thought seems to be that Moyes has (finally) had enough of Aguerd and Antonio and both benched for tonight.
