"By no means is Mubama the answer, and he isn’t (IMO) going to make it as a Premier League regular, but at least he fucking runs about a bit. That has to be the end of Ings. Astonishingly bad. Villa had us over. I’m sick of the negative, try not to concede approach, and only try to win a game in a 10-15 minute window at the end, where we actually look dangerous. It’s bollocks. When will this drab boring idiot realise we have good enough players to win games playing on the front foot from the off? He needs to be moved on. That was abysmal today, and another scraped win to paper over cracks."

"Now for the love of God Moyes START PLAYING MUBAMA ahead of Ings !!!!!!!! Kudus suddenly got busy at the end there, thought he was tiring but suddenly upped a few gears last 10 mins & Burnley couldn't deal with it."

Totally undeserved but for Kudus We will take the points gratefully but anyone with eyes knows it was in spite of Moyes not because of him. Mubama buzzing about helped but it’s all about Kudus. Downside is Moyes will tell himself his selections and tactics were right. Soucek needs to be a striker. Absolutely invisible ( like Ings ) but right place right time again. If he wasn’t a midfielder no problem and since most fans are what they call “ scoreboard fans” they will give him 8 out if 10 what was a 3 out if 10 for his midfield contributions Bittersweet result as it means he stays but always great to win

"Well what a strange game football is. For 86 minutes it could be argued the performance was dire and unacceptable and yet we get two late goals and three points! Soucek does give us something but unless it's a goal he seems to offer little in the terms of build up play and yet today again he is the hero. Benrahma is frustration to say the least but it has to be said he tries things and has a go. If he had an end product most of the time he would be an outstanding player to have. Kudus was quiet for 86 minutes, along with everyone else and yet two bits of quality out of the blue nicks it for us. A strange game indeed but we will take it,. I'm not convinced Mubama is a long lasting answer to our striker problems but he is the closest thing we have to Antonio at his best and he certainly did more in a few minutes than Ings ahs done in his last god knows how many games. He is robust, a bit of pace, certainly better in the air and made a good run for the goal. If Ings is the only other option Mubama must start ahead of him."

Our quality shone when it really mattered. Mubama had proven his point and MUST feature more often now..we have a striker so let’s play him. Ings is finished in this team. Moyes surely has to see this. A win is a win but for 80 mins that was Tripe.

"Delighted with the 3 points, but Moyes is a total and utter wanker of a manger. VERY lucky to pull that one out of the bag. Ings should be just be given his pension and fuck off."

"I've lost count of the number of times I've seen that happen to us at the tail end of a game... bit harsh on Burnley, but you have to take every bit of good fortune you can get. Puts us back in the chasing pack with a little cushion beneath us, COYFI"
