Bowen could easily have passed the ball a bit more outside the box

According to the BBC ( who never lie or get things wrong) website, we're into the 43rd minute of added time in the first half.

Good chance created for Emerson who completely fluffed his shot.

Bit more composure needed in the final third needed. Get Antonio 1v1 with Martinez.

Better start to this half. More pace in the side, and already Man Utd have been forced back. Todibo at the back is a no-brainer, otherwise we’re so slow.
An actual left-winger playing left wing, too: who’d have thought it?
Genuinely not sure what we’ve brought Soler here for. I feel for him, because he was played out of position again.
Yes, who would have thought

With our blatant lack of a steiker i would play Bissaka up front. Fastet and most technically gifted player we have got tbh

Summerville has given a different dimension to our attack, pretty much instantly.

I’ll say this for Soucek, he’s putting up more of a fight than Soler was. And is Summerville going to give us the pace and energy we need? I bloody hope so!

I guess Todibo wasn't carrying a knock or that he's still better than Mav with a knock. Either way, it needs to be asked why Lop started with him in the first place.

Sullivan will not change his choice of manager unless and until we look likely candidates for relegation, so, given that - unbelievably - there are 4 more probable candidates for relegation this term than us, we and J-Flop are joined like Siamese Twins.

All of these subs Lop makes at half time tells me that he hasn't got a fucking scoobie what his best 11 is.
Not his best 11. The issue is the tactics he spends all week meticulously planning, within 45 mins are in tatters. It's an admission that he can't set the team up effectively.

He’s rolled the dice, fair play to him.
I hope it works, it’s not something Moyes ever did much to my annoyance.
I’m hopeful of 3 points now

I’m desperate for it to work out, BUT it’s been 8.5 games and apart from the fullbacks nonsense I have no idea what we’re actually trying to achieve.
Easy to play against and toothless going forward.
We don’t press but we don’t sit deep either. We’re not a possession team but we’re not set up to counter attack either.
it’s just a mess.

Agreed, Stubbo. In fact, I’d say it’s worse than that. We’ve gone backwards under Lopetegui so far. We’re even worse than when Moyes left. Which is saying something.

This is why I said there is no point in obsessing over line up's and formations like a lot of you lot do, but you will still do it next week. If you are shit then you are shit no matter, fuck me it ain't hard to understand surely.
