WHUFC Ipswich Vs West Ham | PL | 25.5.25 | End of Season Predictions and Match Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

So...finally this drab shitter of a season draws to a close. Away at the Tractor Boys to wrap up.

Lopetegui...a blinking incoherent mentalist. Potter...like the monotone Geography teacher in the worn out grey blazer...uninspiring , and just dull.  Sullivan as ever the goblin at large, making success by design an impossibility

So good fucking riddance 24/25...on to what almost inevitably will be a relegation battle next season. But first, let's turn over this mob.

Prediction: 1-2 West Ham...Guilherme off the mark. Fullkrug to score and then give Potter the bird. Kilman own goal to compound his form drop off in the second half.

What say the rest of you fucktards? COYI!

Szmodics my favourite Irish Hungarian Essex Man Hammer has been injured nearly all season. I think it's his first game back? maybe he'll get a few minutes v the team he supports before relegation.. Delap? Probably already sold

No Soler or Ferguson even on the bench. Indication enough that they won't be here.

Potter's managed to suck every bit of flair out of that team with that selection.

I’d have preferred Orford to JWP though.
Yes I thought it was good of him to finally try something new today or give some much needed experience to Academy lads who haven't had any real time to show what they've got. I'm sure he'll play them all next season instead after overlooking them during this highly pressurised period..

Kudus has been woeful for the majority of the season and I’ll be glad to see him go, Paqueta has shown nothing so I’m glad to see both of them on the bench.

I’d have preferred Orford to JWP though.

So 2 of our best players on the bench.
They must be leaving or Potter is clueless.

He's been selecting players by way of a Dartboard for a while now. Fuck knows the logic he's going by any more.

8 Defensive players and set-up again against relegated Ipswich in a meaningless match! 🤣

He's also purposely chosen Fabianski in goal now he's only just realised how truly shit Areola's all round game is. He's not selected Fabianski for sentimental last game reasons as he dropped both Coufal and Cresswell to the bench for this last match. Utterly clueless.

Another boring lineup with loads of defensive minded players.  Potter is fucking full.   Probably the slowest team ive seen us start with.

For Potter to keep him on the bench as punishment for his outburst is a piss take and wouldn't be surprised if he wants to leave should the prick remain.
I wouldn't be surprised either, neither would I be bothered
Same, not so much for his ability as a Striker when regularly fit and starting, I could never accept the cost of him at his age and dubious medical history. Whilst we might still get a reasonable Fee for him in the summer I'd hope to see Fullkrug moved on. It'll be difficult though with the wages we're paying and could well be lumbered with him for the length of his contract for another 3 fucking years.

At the half way point this season we had 23 points, Potter took charge and we’ve now got 40, I’ve seen nothing from him or his team choices that suggests an upturn in our form, if Potter sticks to his usual script we’ll be outplayed and lucky to get nil. Unbelievable to say but thank fuck for the useless Loppy. 1-0 time to forget about this club and the way it’s run for a bit.

Would be nice to sign off with a performance and some optimism……. But I’m sceptical.

Kids first communion at 2pm so I’ll probably miss some/all of the game but in truth I don’t really care.

I’d like to see Guilherme & Fullkrug get a start.
