Went exactly as we all expected.

fix central midfield and goalkeeper, we fix the team but it wont happen. Sulivam wont spend and will risk it in just staying up.

Cock piss potter will be gone by Xmas, and then the squad will need another overhaul as we have players signed by the manager to play his system and not the new saps system.

rinse & repeat.

We have a smaller squad than last year.  We have the same Same slow midfield as last year, one which creates fuck all and had a bunch of players who love to play sideways.   We have one recognised striker who without service is as useful as those that come before him.
we have the same coach who spouts drivel about transitions and uses words like “context” trying to sound clever because in reality he’s a text book and has the personality of one.
add to this Sullivan running the show on transfers and you get absolutely nothing to look forward to.
This season is going to be another horrific shit show.

Sounds like nothing has really changed since last season. Potter’s tactics & that midfield are still the biggest issue.

two weeks to go and we’ve done nothing to solve the situation.

We really weren't that good. Very little difference from last season.

The thought of removing Paqueta and adding Callum fucking Wilson to that team/squad makes me want to be sick.

Watched both games today…

Bournemouth looked V. good…

We were poor except for a few exceptions…

Everton looked worse…

Long way to go…

What are you on about? The result is meaningless, but the way we were so comprehensively outplayed all over the pitch by a pretty poor side is the thing to take away from this. We didn't have a shot until 60 mins. Areola is shit and needs to fuck off but we have way bigger problems than that. I think we'll see similar dismal performances against Bournemouth and Everton. Potter hasn't changed anything at all and made zero use of the new lad who had a stinker. Dismal fucking stuff.

You're simple reiterated what I've posted.  Yes, we were shit, but the last 15 minutes offered some hope when the kids came on.
Sounds like you need to re-read your own drivel. I wouldn't recommend it though.

The youngsters and Paqueta certainly had intent. Preston what his name was impressive, Potts neat and tidy and some lovely movement to maintain possession, Scarles not heavily involved but never put a foot a wrong.

Not sure what Elliott adds unless Paqueta is off. Even so he'd be a big downgrade. Desperate for a striker. Fulkrug is shit, teo games running against shit sides he's been anonymous. We don't provide him much but he's so immobile. Poor player.

Positives are we look good fitness wise, and our patterns of play (albeit unadventurous) look well drilled even with our young players stepping in. Negatives are the distinct lack of creativity and a keeper that simply cannot be number one.

This Fearon lad looks very decent. We've looked borderline competent at times since Paqueta got on and then Potts and Fearon. Guilherme looks like he's been on the weights this summer, has beefed up.

Game has been diabolical overall. Really poor, clueless football from us. Nothing has changed since last season. Concerning. We need a minimum of three more players, a striker, a quality centre midfielder and a goalkeeper. If we dont we'll be right down there.

Impressive little cameo from Fearon. Has looked decent and I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve seen one of our CMs make a long lung busting run getting up with the forwards. He’s covered a lot of ground and isn’t afraid of the ball. Good stuff.

Decidedly more energy since the starting midfield 3 were hooked. Funny that

More about us in midfield with the kids in there seen as they can, you know, run.
