Despite our recent experience and ECL trophy win, we are outsiders at 33/1. Which could be decent if we actually make a few quality signings. Manuel Under Moyes we'll be lucky to get 3rd and ECL. We'll be under to much pressure in the league and he won't risk players in Europe. We need a new manager during the International break no later. I fancy Brighton to get the ECL final, don't think they have a big enough squad or experience. Milner should be playing for them in midfield not right back in Europe

Shoot Moyes and a couple of additions and the picture is different That aside I'd rather welcome us dropping down to 'our' cup and winning it again

Uefa will be hoping (making sure) Liverpool get to the final in Dublin.

Look we beat Seville in this competition the side thats utterly dominated it in recent memory and yes we're the only English side thats done so . How far we go in this tournament will be decided by who we buy between now and the end of August.

And we can't really begin to talk about the Champions League drop downs after Christmas. We were fortunate the year before last. But I think we will be there for it.

One game at a time and all that. We can't face in the group stage Liverpool . AS Roma . Villarreal . Bayer Leverkusen . Atalanta Brighton and maybe not Sporting or Rennes Frieburg, I think we could take. Betis plays nice Pellegrini football and would be tight. Marseille similar assuming we make some signing. The others already there Sturm Graz, Toulouse, TSC, and Servette Those unseeded in the Champion League Playoffs, PSV, though I think they will beat Rangers. Panathinaikos Maccabi Haifa Raków Czestochowa Royal Antwerp Molde FK And the winner of Dinamo Zagreb Croatia/AEK Athens

I expect us to at least get out of the group stage. Ajax are the only team to worry about from the qualifiers.

We are a weaker outfit than last time in this comp. We have a higher grade opponent pool in this comp than when we featured last time out. I don't give us any hope. We might get through the group stages if we are put in with the unseeded dross.

I think some one posted. That the teams we beat in ECL; none of them would finish top half of prem. I’m not booking hotels in Dublin yet.

I wouldn't fancy us against any of those, so it's probably about right. I'll be pleased if we get out of the group stage.
