"Three episodes into The Offer, it's alright but hardly anything special is it. Joe Columbo makes me laugh."

"Dunno if I've already recommended it, but watched ""Smoking"" a while back on Netflix. Japanese series about a gang of homeless folk who do assassinations for mob bosses. Expected to switch it off after 5 minutes but was fantastic."

Eva was the best thing in SRH. Nice bit of eye candy to distract from all the homo erotic shit going on with Mayne and co

BRANDED ... yup got the 2 mixed up... yeah the lad playing Mayne was superb... far more believable than how they portrayed Stirling... however the BBC have literally said he was an uphill gardener yet all I've read it's been pure speculation... but never mind get that Gay Gold Star stamped on it along with getting females in there...

Yeah he's a good actor... I'm not sure he nailed the Ghost major mind you... Scottish Nobility ecentrics don't normally go round calling all an sundy ... Cunts... anyway that's far less of a annoyance than that fucking Eva woman in the series... I could hardly sleep last night through the gnashing of teeth

BTW I'm surprised Jack O'Connell hasn't been more of a superstar. Superb physical presence on screen and a great actor.

Manuel. I did. I thought it got a bit 'samey' towards the end but stuck with it anyway. At its peak it was very good and I'll watch it when it returns. Currently making my way through Boardwalk Empire which I'm finding excellent.

Watched the last 3 episodes of SAS rogues tonight...as BRANDED said entertaining... and i can forgive the music... but what the fuck was all that made up Eva spy bullshit about? So much brilliant stuff in the book they not touched and wasted a shit load of time with a fabricated story... if HBO Hanks and Spielburg got hold of this could have been up there with Band of Bros... instead... a entertaining 7\10

The SAS show is entertaining except for the music. Absolute nonsense.

"Percy Dalton 12:17 Mon Oct 31 Have watched the first 3 episodes… will finish off tonight… it does get better episode 3 is superb. Dragging it out massively with the Algerian female spy and too be honest I don’t remember too much about her in Ben Macintyre brilliant book. I was hoping it was going to be like a HBO version of Band of Brothers or the pacific but I suppose with the bloke that done Peaky Blinders it was never going to be like that… the soundtrack is pretty cool mind you but still not sure the Clash, damned and ACDC would be what I would be thinking in telling this story. Anyway they have covered most things so far and attention to detail is good (apart from using Dakotas ) it has got better so looking forward to episodes 4-6."

"The thing with the likes of Dahmer, for me is, we know he was one sick gruesome fucker, then why should i/want to sit on my arse wasting precious time watching a series about his story? Not for me."

"Finally finished Dahmer, it was okay but found it a bit of a drag. Not convinced really by the portrayal of this loon and some of the other things that were meant to play out. Thought his Dad played a good part, but would have expected him to be, let's say, a little more disappointed in his son than how it was shown. Also thought the neighbour got too much air time. Will give The Offer a go."

Was looking forward to SAS Rogue Heroes but was underwhelmed with the script. Why do they jazz scripts up to compete with US war films. Couldn't imagine in a million years that Stirling would have said come on let's go and win the war. Hopefully it will improve but I'm not holding my breath.

GofT House of Dragons was OK. Noit enough action for my liking. As for LotR. What a pile of shite. The most expensive series to date and yet made it look like it was made by The History Channel.
