Most immigration in the UK comes from regions which are far less tolerant than the UK (often via France, much less tolerant than its neighbours). Its no stretch to reason that importing people from a racist country into a tolerant one will make the host country more racist. 70% of the racial abuse of black England players coming from abroad is consistent with the above. Absolute chaos in my neighbourhood all day. They tried to dump a few hundred immigrants into an abandoned paint factory a few months ago. Protesters camped out blocking the entrance. During the night Garda came and ripped the area down the protesters had set up and tried bussing loads of immigrants in.
