Morpheus 10:54 Heard it's a two-parter. Hope the first film makes enough wedge to justify the second concluding film.

Actually pretty crazy when you think the original post of this was from the very first week of 2020 and Top Gun Maverick (that was coming out that year) is actually being released 30 months later. Mental to think how much has changed of the world we knew from then to now.

Paramount want that Summer Box office. The first reviews of Dune are in. And it’s thumbs up all around. So a lot of the fans will be happy. But the majority of causal viewers will be bored shitless.

"Hows about this for a bad streak? I have watched two films in two weeks, and BOTH make it onto my alltime top ten stinkers list. Last week was Crime Story with Richard Dreyfuss and Mira Sorvino. Two former Oscar winners I'll have you know - they ought to be ashamed of themselves. If a doctor told me I was going blind and I only had 1hr 38 mins of sight left I would watch this film again. Not to celebrate its visual splendour all over again, but because the consumption by darkness at the end would be a welcome relief. 1/10 This week - Sweet Child with Jason Momoa. Its bad for the first 2/3rds (not Crime Story bad, but bad nonetheless). Then there is a plot twist that manages to confuse, bemuse, and annoy all in one stroke. I actually lolled out loud when it was delivered. If I have to share a positive, its the best film I've seen in the past fortnight. 1.5/10."

Midnight.in.the.Switchgrass.2021.- Truly bad. It seems Bruce Willis will do any shit these days if only for 5 mins screen time. Megan Fox is looking more like a Brazilian tranny.

"Have to agree mad dog. Literally just watched it. Thought the first in 2017 was excellent and one of the top films of that genre, however the sequel has fallen as far as Superman 3 and 4 did compared 1 and 2 back in the Christopher Reeve days."

Watched that a couple of weeks ago and would agree with that. Am going to see THE NEST next week. Jude Law film about the horrors of moving to Surrey by the director of Martha Marcy May Marlene.
