Daily Quiz anyone?

"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Congrats on the clean sweeps chaps. Zeb - I was going to reply earlier in the day that you would have to just ""wait"" for the answers but a clue too far I thought. Mad Dog, sorry again, I think I have used that question more than once I think. Funny isn't it, if you asked most fans of the Simpsons now who Tracy Ullman was they wouldn't have a clue. And whatever happened to David Copperfield? Not the magician, the other one on Three Of a Kind with Ullman and Lenny Henry. East, that's really sad. For some bizarre reason I remember watching The Elephant Man on TV when they interrupted it for the news of Zebrugge. It was shocking then and even more shocking when you think how these disatters so easily happened. While researching these ""years"" quizzes the amount of plane crashes or train crashes back in the 80's was staggering. Health and Safety can go too far these days but when you look back we can thanks it for a lot now."

"I also have a maximum 12. Thanks to a lucky guess for the George Michael one. ( I only know that one George Michael song and guessed it might be an album title) On a sadder note, one of the victims on the Herald of Enterprise was a teacher at my kids' junior school and a work colleague lost their Dad in the King Cross fire."
