Takashi Miike 1:04 Wed Nov 10 Yep. One of the best endings to a film ever. Turned a decent film into a great one for me.

"Sold - Ok, will get around to Notw. Yep, the theme in TLGF is different gravy, hair on back of neck in the last scene in the car. ted - Yes, London docks. most of the bars and pubs have all changed now, which is no surprise. Bob Hoskins was only 37 when he did it, hard paper round."

"Some of the ""Long Good Friday"" was filmed in the Docks where I was working watched the film at the Odeon Barking. This is supposed to be good viewing Four Hours at the Capitol - BBC iPlayer"

Manuel… yeah seen NotW… thought it was very good… also a massive fan of the Long Good Friday… absolute classic… the making of the film is worth watching if you not seen it… also had the theme tune as my Ringtone for years…

I thought No Time to Die was good in parts but probably the least good of all Daniel Craig’s Bond films.

"Mad Dog, Apparently there’s gonna be a trilogy. 1st film pre tournament, 2nd during the tournament, 3rd post tournament. Looks like we’ll be seeing Johnny Cage in the next one."

"I've recently re-watched The long good friday and Mona Lisa, still great films with good shots of 80's London.. Has anyone seen the new Hanks western News of the world? Seems to have flown under the radar a bit."
Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
Original knew exactly what it was (shit but fun) and actually had a tournament Remake was just shit I'm not claiming 95 was a god movie by any stretch. But 2021 is poor
Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
“Mortal kombat 95 is much better than the 2021 version” Turn it in. The original was a joke film that did the game no justice whatsoever.

"Seen a few worthy films lately but just want to mention Old Henry, a gritty cowboy film refreshingly devoid of black lesbian gunfighters. I never really liked Westerns growing up a my old man loved them and I recall loads of Sunday afternoons with him watching John Wayne films we'd all seen fifty times before thinking 'for fuck sake dad, this shit AGAIN plus school tomorrow'? I couldn't stand a weekend when my little pals were doing other stuff as dad would always subject me to the wrestling on World Of Sport on Saturday too. I can still summon up the sheer dispair I used to feel if I try. Anyway, wandered off there, Old Henry, great film."

Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
I saw The Deep House a low budget ghost story with Mick's kid James Jagger (Who looks like Slaven Bilic). Was an interesting slant as an under water haunting.Worth a watch. That Camille Rowe is stunning but a bit ginger.

"Soldo Was a big fan of Villeneuve especially Prisoners closely followed by Sicario. Which are excellent. Not sure why he's moved into SciFi. Arrivals was OK, Blade Runner not too good and Dune OK."

"Mr Anon 10:56 Wed Oct 27 The bloke who plays Junior in the film does say it, but it doesn't have the same impact. It was just said as it's something the character in the show would say. Junior was a brilliant character in The Sopranos, almost my favourite, but the film version is entirely miscast."
