I’d expect they will. They’ll do nothing like what they’ve threatened and just roll over in the end. I’d be amazed if the clubs involved haven’t covered every basis legally for this to happen.

There will be no swapping between squads in-season, but there will be no need, as each will be self supporting. ESL money will fund the upgrading of facilities and academies from which the ""domestic squads"" will collaterally benefit."
