maybe not everyone is a tough as you Side? or maybe they are just more polite to people they've never met. why would objecting to a racial slur in a thread title mean that Italians overrate themselves?

Italians generally get on very well with Brits. After all a fuck load came over here as waiters back in the day.

‘amongst friends who are italian you'll likely be fine using it jokingly’ Tbh goose I think you ITALIANS over rate yourselves….the only time I’d be wary of saying it front of an Italian is if you were serving my food for obvious reasons….but generally it’s a shortened way we say Italians. You’d know by now slang is a major part of English vocabulary especially in London and the surroundings.

"Goose He's not dumb enough to think that endlessly misquoting him about a Jimmy Saville will make you look clever or him stupid. Half the fucking country were 'big fans' of him until they found out what he was doing. That includes Wilson, Callaghan, Thatcher, Blair and Brown. I don't know about Heath or Major but I doubt they wedre any different. That was the whole point. That was how he got away with it. I do understand that you are pretending that bigfrank still is a fan, but, back in the real world, are you so stupid that you think labelling someone a Jimmy Saville fan is in some way damning? And calling an Italian an Itie is about the least hateful thing you could ever call a foreigner, as I'm fairly sure you know. Give it a rest, you're making a fool of yourself. But if you're going to be a prick, at least restrict yourself to being a prick on this thread, not on one concerning a complete tragedy."

European champions is also a good way to refer to them. Or failed to qualify for the last two world cups types.

it's essence is a racial slur. amongst friends who are italian you'll likely be fine using it jokingly. starting a thread on a website using that term is just stupid.

I'd tend to think that is one of the more kinder terms for Italians no? The shortening of the word Italians? There are far worse names used against Italians like there is for most countries no?

"Anti-Semtic Goose Of course, no different to the Aussies calling us poms, Yanks calling us limey's, or us calling the Welsh taffs, Scottish Jocks, Irish paddy's, Germans Jerry's, French frogs. Don't tell me you are a woke snowflake aswell? Did you cry when we were singing ""Ten german bombers"" in the Vic and Carpenters?"

"As for tonight, England should win fairly comfortably. Goalkeeper aside there’s probably not one player who makes the England team. Barella maybe. We have the better coach though."

Frank - you are the self titled 'big fan' of the 'hilarious' Jimmy Savile. i'm not surprised you need xenophobia explained to you. do you find you need to wear gloves to protect your knuckles from the floor?
