Those over 65 are overwhelmingly white (Christian) and will drop off the figures in 15 to 20 years. The second thing to take into account is fertility rates. The white population has fertility rate well below the replacement rate. So as white people die the absolute number of whites is shrinking quite fast. But the population of the UK is rising faster than ever (immigration). Importantly the fertility rate for muslims here is above replacement (2.9). So they are growing by 50% as white British shrink fast. That leads to exponential changes in the demographic make up of the UK. ie the change is speeding up. Add to this the level of muslim immigration increasing exponentially as more arrive they bring in relatives who in turn bring their relatives and the number muslims here is probably already under counted (high % of illegals are muslim) its quite likely that many people under the age of 40 will live to see the UK becoming majority muslim in their lifetimes. I should add for certain commenters that I have no fear of muslims I am married to a Turk (albeit an atheist one) and many of my in-laws are practising muslims for whom I have great respect. But anyone who fears that Britain is not being overwhelmed with foreign culture/religion that will replace them have well founded fears. Unless things change it is inevitable - absolute certainty - that muslims will reach majority and it will happen faster than you realise."
