Who do you want to be our next manager?

I know it’s hard to nominate when any decision would be made by the utter pillock Sullivan but …
I’d like to see us take a chance on a young English manager like Michael Carrick

If reports are to be believed, Terzic has already been sounded out so a wish list is pretty pointless at this stage.

Carrick seems to be too much of a nice guy, I want my manager to be a bastard, as long as he has a plan.

Having an English manager for the first time since 2015 would be nice.

Potter for me. Although it is strange he is still out of work.

Carrick is a good shout, but perhaps too much of a risk.

As long as I can understand what they are saying in press conferences then I’ll take anyone

Ten Haag was criticised at Man Utd because his team had no identity and it was very difficult to understand exactly what he was trying to do.  Much the same as JLo right now.

Not for me.

In this order:
  • Sergio Conceicao
  • Eden Terzic
  • Michael Carrick

Chelsea fan says Potter is still being paid by chelsea.  If he takes a job it'll cost 20m.  This is why hes still out of work and why sullivan will go nowhere near

If you believe the rumours, Tim wants Conceicao and Noble wants Tersic. Everything I’ve read about Conceicao is that he is very much like Moyes but the players will run through brick walls for him. He favours work rate over flair and he is so prickly that he will probably have a bust up with Sullivan and be out by next Christmas.

Certain bookies have stopped taking bets on next manager sacked.

Ten Hag ( something to prove )
Carrick
Noble but with an experienced number 2, someone like a Zabaleta

This maybe a bit too far fetched, but I fancy giving Will Still a go.

The one thing that Sullivan does, which we can't fault him for is loyalty and support to the manager. Is it something like only twice in his whole ownership of clubs he has sacked anyone?

Anyway I have followed him the past couple of years at Riems and Lens and seems to be a well liked a nice person.

The downside is he is very very young, I also am not sure how much I like the fact he has 2 family members as his assistants, that could play out either way, although I feel having a non family member as an assistant, maybe a better look out for a player that needs to get a message across without being the scapegoat.

Not sure of his style of play but he is a West Ham fan and his bird works for sky sports and supports Watford so imagine he would appreciate a London based job. Was in talks with Sunderland but chose Lens instead as they were adamant they wanted him as a first choice.

Anyway if we were going to give a young manager a chance and give him a bit of time then I don' think someone would like him would be a bad shout.

I was pleasantly surprised with Potter during the coverage earlier, I always had him down as a weirdo but I take it back. Would I want him? Not really, Silva would be my choice but that means Snow White's mate having to spend some money

Yes Sullivan will want it to be seen that Steidten appoints and fires managers for now. But will be very surprised if anything happens before xmas based simply on Sullivans history of procrastination and difficulty accepting he’s totally wrong.  If as u say, he can make it look like Steidten got Loppy wrong he might pull the trigger.

odious men do odious things

Moyes or Big Sam till the end of the season.

I'm coming round to the idea of Potter, but would happily see Terzic on an 18 month deal.

Conceicao has supposedly left Porto in a state, and is not someone to bring calm stability. Think we need cool and calm, rather than more Latin histrionics.

That's of the freebies anyway. Dont even breath the name of the ex-England manager in case Sullivan gets wind and thinks it's a serious suggestion.

Ideal world, I'd like us to buy Silva out of his deal at Fulham.

But it's all a bit pointless, whilst Sullivan retains so much control, as whoever else is at the Club will be operating with one hand behind their back while Sullivan "alledgedly" takes his slice of transfer operatives income on West Ham deals.

But Potter or Terzic at this point, while casting envious glances at Amorim and maybe even Van Nistelrooy having just heard him perfectly identify Leicester's strengths and how he setup to utilise them.

I thought terzic was nailed on . But I strongly suspect dwarfs going to allow steitden to bring in concecaio. If only to deflect any criticism of the lopetegui appointment. Make no mistake he will be trying to undermine him every time we suffer a loss . And camp Sean whetstone  will be the one pushing it .

Hodgson a good shout.  Trusted pair of hands.

Sully on the phone to Silkman and Salthouse now to see if Woy is on their books or was once

The new man will need to be old, have prem league experience and also be old. Be out of contract and also be old with a favourable agent repping him, be old with big club experience and maybe a national team as well.

Roy Hodgson?

Anyone who can see the limitations of this squad and apply tactics accordingly

Concaiceo seems the one being touted but cant say I know enough about him. Allegri although I was told his best days may be behind him then I thought oh no exactly who Sullivan would like then.  Sully wint go young, progressive it will be a “safe pair of hands” which for him is Benitez

unfortuately though cannot see Sullivan acting yet either He never does until too late

Surely, seeing that we don’t have the power to appoint the question needs to be who don’t we want as our next manager?

You don’t want Conceicao, his style of football is the same as Moyes and the Spanish Moyes.

All considered I'd go with Potter, but would also have super Slav for the rest of the season.

In no particular order -

Ten Hag
Carrick
Silva
Moyes

it will be Potter or Terzic though, cheap options.
