Until West Ham find out mojo again, a game against a David Moyes managed side will always have some kind of extra significance.
Layer on the pressure on Potter who looks like a dead man walking, and this game is under intense scrutiny.
It looks for all the world like Potter has two games, not to save his job, but to buy a stay if execution, against Everton and Arsenal, made none the easier by these two being amongst the best set piece side in the league....the Hammers clear achilles heel.
The stats this far have backed up the eye test...West Ham ARE terrible at defending the box, none of the keepers help out on crosses, and we give up corners willy nilly.
But if Potter is to cling on, nothing but a win here will do.

Im going to change my will and leave him everything
I'm convinced we would have been relegated by now without him. Love him to bits and so crucial for us it's scary.
Didn't you say before he scored that he was having a shit game? Hahaha
He was in the 1st half you clown!

Diouf is excellent but fuck me he cannot take a Throw-in to save his fucking life!
Sure it was him in the last game that did a foul throw as well. Shocking.

We’ve hung in there which is encouraging, and a fantastic run from Diouf.
no matter what happens last 20min you can at least see a blueprint to something that could work.

Fullkrug poor…lacks basic skills…
needI e More from Paqueta and Fernandes…
Bowen off the pace…
Mavropanos poor marking gives up the goal…
Players look up for it…lacking final ball
Midfield moving better…but lacking real creativity… better without JWP
Everton bigger stronger and quicker all over…
Lets see what Nuno does…
Maybe VAR can rescue us…???

This is more like it. Pace and power on the break. Actually scaring a defence.
