"Eddie Marsan — yes Hopkins — yes Gratuitous chubby bird tit flash — yes Did I guess the gist of it right at the start — yes Can't argue with any of that, will give Nobody another try, I couldn't get a stream on Kodi for it, I'll give you a rating once I've seen it!"

"The cast list is why I watched it in the first place. It's got the same writer, screenplay writer, producer and director. A prime example of a seriously rich kid pissing his money away making a film. Funnily enough, it's that exact same case with Army Of The Dead. Films generally these days are shit because Netflix or Amazon or whoever just want content and don't seem to care about a carefully worded script. It's getting harder and harder to find a film that even has an idea you've never seen before. Did you not think that Eddy Marsan was criminally underused in The Virtuoso? Hopkins looked like he phoned his performance in. Okay, some chubby bird got her tits out (totally gratuitously) but I'll never get my two hours back. The best film I think I've seen this year is Nobody with Bob Odenkirk. Stupid but funny and with some great set pieces you wouldn't expect from the bloke who played Saul in Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad. I'm not digging you out though K, even you gave the film a 5 out of 10. It's just that I'm giving it a zero. Different strokes and all that mate."

"Leave off Only cunts watch zombie films. That Virtuoso had a great cast — Anthony Hopkins, David Morse (Brutal in Green Mile), Eddie Marsan plus the best tits in the business? Each to their own, cha boo, but I know what I'd rather be looking at"

"Kaiser Zoso 3:14 Sat Jun 5 Oh dear, The Virtuoso was comfortably the worst film I've seen this year, even worse than Army Of The Dead which is saying something."

Just watched Never give in documentary about Alex Ferguson. Thought I'd give it ten minutes seeing as it's pissing down watched it till the end even though I have Man Utd. Fantastic manager and a working class man who had a hard upbringing from Govan. Excellently made really enjoyed it.

"Swiss I'm amazed that you HAVE neighbours. I'd imagined you having a home in a hollowed out volcano somewhere in the Indian ocean populated by you and several hundred supermodels. As it happens though, turning up the centre channel (or turning down the surround channels) on your AV amp solves all your mumbling problems."

Watched the latest Saw movie. Pretty shit and I can't take Chris Rock seriously in a serious role. Like mentioned has to turn up the volume for the dialogue then frantically turn it down for the action not to have the neighbours banging on the door. Might use the subtitles in future.

"That didn't come across how it was meant — there's lots of pre sets, and one of them is Stereo, which does the job. The others are Surround Sound, multi channel, Jazz Club, Theatre, you get the picture. If anything, the amp is all things to all men, so it takes a fair bit of setting up and also getting familiar with all of the different sounds. I generally leave it on Surround Sound, unless I'm listening to music"

"MMG, yes — it's labeled Stereo It sounds a bit thin though with just two speakers, so usually I stick it on multi channel stereo, so all the speakers start to rock."

"Kaiser Zoso 11:28 Isn't there a setting on your amp where you can play your music only from the 2 main speakers, turning your centre/rears off? If you're listening to normal stereo, ie not 5.1 music, you should only hear it from your 2 main speakers and not the centre."

"BRANDED 3:10 Sat May 29 Why don't you just turn up the centre speaker in your AV amp? 60% of the film comes from there anyway. It's a bit like people who struggle to hear dialogue in a film at the cinema. I just tell them to sit nearer the front as the important stuff comes from directly behind the middle of the screen. Fuck the 'what the director intended' bollocks and trying to sit in the middle of the cinema, I want to hear what's been said."

Yeah my Yamaha has an option where you can increase the dialogue setting. Not that it makes any difference if some mong is still mumbling.

"BRANDED 3:10 Sat May 29 I just want a button that turns up the centre speaker or down all the others. Funnily enough, I've got a Denon amp which powers the surround sound speakers. Coincidentally, while I was looking to adjust something else, I came across a function that does exactly that — concentrates speech etc., into the centre speaker. Great for watching TV, but it's shit when listening to music. There you go, 600 sheets denon avr-x2700h"
