Watched Knives Out last night. Very good indeed. Good plot with some nice twists and good touches of humour. I can definitely recommend it.

Both of them are totally entertaining, overacted bollocks which will leave you smiling. After hearing good reviews on here now planning on to going to see Nomadland at the pictures with herself this Friday. Frances Mcdormand is a brilliant actress and you can’t beat watching a decent film on the big screen.

Zico - If you like Redford look up An old man & the gun..was his last ever acting film and based on a true story about a bank robber. Also 'All is lost' when he is at sea alone on a small boat during a big storm.

Army of the Dead perfect Saturday Zac Synder carnage... loved Valentine Seigfrieds white tiger...

A few years old but I stumbled across on Amazon Prime A Wall in the Woods with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte. Easy going light hearted comedy which I thought highly enjoyable.

The Woman in the Window is worth watching despite the so called expert critics giving it low marks. Like a modern day Hitchcock suspense film. On Netflix.

Will give Army if The Dead on Netflix a go tonight unless the gf ropes me into the Eurovision. Like a good zombie fest.

But the main reason is their core market is 18-35-year-olds, who have short attention spans. They're snack movies. Fills some time but are forgettable. I watced Nomadland last night. A bit slow and depressing but a decent film. Frances McDormond is excellent as usual.

US films used to spend four or five times in percentage terms more on script redrafts and pre-production than European films, hence why the formula was often so much more polished. Saw County Lines yesterday - very dark but the director had Come and See as an influence so it figures. Key scene in Leigh-on-Sea for all you Essex Boys."

Watched Palm Springs on Amazon. It was okay but not great.

'Nobody' with Bill Odenkirk (Saul from Better Call Saul) is a fucking hoot. Saw it twice last week and he's perfectly cast as a seemingly normal cowardly bloke against the Russian mob. Made me laugh and laugh.
