May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.
Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?
Window this close season comes in two parts:
Part 1: 1st June to 10th June
Part 2: 16th June to 1st September
The Glazer's don't seem to be in a hurry to leave the building. And most ManU fans feel they a useless cunts.!
The Glazers, to be fair, no matter what shenanigans they are pulling behind the scenes with club finances and the state of their stadium have always backed their managers handsomely in the transfer market and absolutely given them the finances to succeed. They've just made some fucking poor manager choices in the last decade looking for a quick fix when they needed more of a sea change, which has lead to the situation they've been in.
Spurs fans are always moaning about Levy. He's multitudes better at running a football club than Sullivan.
Two fucking awful examples.
The more you post, the more of a simpleton you expose yourself to be.

The Glazers put little in and loaded the club up with debt and take money out
Theyve let the managers spend the money the club generates and then Sir Jim Catweazle came along and gave them more than they’ve ever put in for a minority share
No wonder they want to keep the magic money tree
Love their work!

The clubs being run this badly.simply because it's going to be someone else's problem pretty soon . When was the last time premier League owners hung about after not investing. Ashley and moshri are recent examples. These owners haven't invested a penny since 2021 and have survived on European money alone . And now that's gone as well.

Both of them teams are part of the so-call Top Six. BOTH finished lower than us.! Sure an odd cup keeps the Barbarians from the gates. But neither of these clubs are getting their hands on a Premiership trophy any time soon.
Sure they both had bad seasons. Both clubs ownerships have made bad choices. They haven't fucked with their managers' plans though and have made a lot of funds available every time for a squad to be built the way the manager wanted it done. Both will likely finish ahead of us this season. Both have won more than we have in recent history. Both of them, I'd probably swap owners in a heartbeat.
No one coming to our rescue Scorch. Even if we dropped into the Championship. The fanbase would go back in droves. The only way we get rid of Sullivan is if the money disappears.

Correct Scorch. “The Sullivan Effect” is back and worse than ever. You do not run a football club this way and expect improvement or success over the long term.
And as this link suggests, many others in the game agree:
He speaks well. Totally agree. What's baffling is that Sullivan has to be aware it's being discussed everywhere and can't really be controlled by Jim white slapping callers to talksport down and talking over them or cutting them off any longer, yet still he doesn't even care that his name is becoming synonymous with 'shit owner'. I'd have thought that his ego side would have problems with that. Maybe his desire to play football manager or (possibly/allegedly) skim a bit off the side at the club by working with a friendly contact rather than his employees is just stronger than any of that.
Why the fuck should Sullivan change. While the fans pay money for what he serves up.? It ain't rocket science.

So Vickery who has watched him a lot thinks he's decent... The majority on here who have never seen him have labelled him a clown.
Palacios looks a very good player from what I've seen, but this is driven by Sullivan and not the recruitment team if you believe the rumours, but I suppose those that believe it about other players have to, right?
Looks just the type we need.
The player is almost irrelevant. It's the fact/principle that Sullivan is acting outside the needs or requirements of his managers and not putting the success of the team on the field above his own interests. If the player is good (AWB for example) then it's at least helping the team but it's still the way it's being done which is distasteful. However the players are usually not up to much which makes it distasteful and stupid while being self serving at the same time. There are more Callum Wilsons than AWBs arriving thanks to Sullivan. The club is worse off for them, on the whole.
Depends if you believe it or not, or is it just ex hasn't heard about it so he's assuming it's Sullivan... If I was an Itk who learnt money from sharing stuff and I got it wrong about the keeper and knew nothing maybe I would take the easy route and blame the bloke that everyone (with good reason) hates.
But yeah you're right he shouldn't be meddling but we as a club should have a coach that works with the players given to him by a professional recruitment team... Never gonna happen though is it.
I guess so. I feel there seems to be a logic to a link or a signing if it's perceived as coming from the manager, and less of one if perceived as coming from Sullivan. I do think that largely holds up.
I know we went round the houses with the two keepers but Hermanson seemed a signing we were logically working toward with our recruiting, acknowledged by Leicester with their recruiting also. Then out of nowhere there's this link to the Brazilian guy. One seemed logical and sensible, the other seems completely random. In my humble opinion, Hermanson really feels like a researched, reasoned, logical manager's choice and Victor feels like a classic Sullivan plucked seemingly out of thin air or the filofax of an approaching agent with no groundwork done. We may likely just not agree on that at all but there you go.
I don't think we could agree more on the meddling or the chances of it ceasing, sadly!

Understood Summerville was fit now & ready to join in now that they are back from America
My Reading was that Elliot hadn’t ruled us out but obviously would prefer a Champions league team
And of course we have asked the price but not bid
If I was Liverpool I’d be offering him to Newcastle as part exchange for Isak. Throw Nunez in there as well is they miss out on Sesko to Man U
