"Just for you Mike you fucking miserable cսnt... Critic reviews Freed from the shackles of superheroes, this boasts Zack Snyder‚Äôs best (and worst) traits in full force: a stupidly entertaining ‚Äî if excessive and overlong ‚Äî zombie blockbuster blow-out. Full review John Nugent Empire For a zombie film Army Of The Dead could seem a bit long at 148 minutes, though Zack Snyder scores because he keeps the shocks and spins coming in. Full review Sify Movies Zack Snyder‚Äôs zombies-in-Vegas extravaganza is an exhausting pivot from brilliant to boring, accomplished to shambolic. Full review Jeannette Catsoulis The NYTimes Netflix's ridiculous bloodfest has the right hero and an unusual villain. Full review Darren Franich Entertainment Weekly The film is reminiscent of other sci-fi action-horror flicks but Snyder‚Äôs attempt to build his zombie franchise is off to a bloody, good start. Full review Neil Soans Times of India Zack Snyder sticks to the traditional formula, but also adds his quirks like showing a disturbingly awesome zombie tiger - Army Of The Dead Movie Review. Full review Umesh Punwani Koimoi The idea of a heist in the middle of a zombie apocalypse sounds great during the planning stage of the movie. But Snyder doesn't take it very far. Full review Prahlad Srihari Firstpost Is this movie terrifying? Not really. Obscenely grotesque? Oh, yeah. Full review Paul Asay Plugged In It's two hours and 28 minutes of packed-to-the-gills video-game-meets-21st-century-Western-meets-day-of-the-living-dead fun, all staged by Snyder with a jaunty spirit of gung-ho classicism. Full review Owen Gleiberman Variety Zack Snyder's zombie heist movie is hardly original, and yet, because of its cast and hardy sense of humor, it marginally succeeds as an action/horror roller coaster ride. Full review Miserable Mike Westhamonline It's Shit"

A really great zombie story is also a great allegory ( emphasis on the gory obvs) . What’s the allegory in this movie?

"Percy Dalton 9:33 Sat May 22 ""The Woman in the Window is worth watching"" Was OK but an overused formula. Not a patch on Disturbia if you like that plot/genre."

"Just seen Nomadland. Only the genius that is McDormand could eke an Oscar-winning performance from a film about nothing* *Just because it's a film about nothing, doesn't mean it isn't very good indeed."

"Manuel 5:21 Sun May 23 Yep I bought ""Old Man and a Gun"" on DVD and forgot all about it so it's lined up this evening! ""All is Lost"" is a great film. Like ""Castaway"" as a film with one character you require a great actor to keep you engaged. He has done some great films, ""Butch Cassidy/Sundance"", ""The Sting"", ""3 Days of the Condor"", ""All the Presidents Men"", ""The Last Castle"" ""Brubaker"", ""Spy Game"" - even ""Sneakers"" was fun! Must make a point that I can't believe that Nick Nolte is still alive! Certainly looks like he lived life to the full! Off on a tangent I couldn't believe to read that they are apparently doing a reboot of Planes, Trains and Automobiles with Will Smith and Kevin Hart --- Why oh Why?! Ok Smith and Hart have their talents but why even attempt something done so brilliantly by Steve Martin and the great John Candy?! There is by all accounts a 2 hour and 3 hour directors cut of the original lying around in a vault somewhere so why not just release that in it's entirety?"

"Two films I've seen lately and loved (which is FUCKING unusual these days) are I Care A Lot with the eminently fuckable Rosomund Pike, and Nobody which stars Bill Odenkirk, Saul from Better Call Saul. Both of them are totally entertaining, overacted bollocks which will leave you smiling. Exactly what we all need while living through this fucking horror film occurring outside our windows in real life."

After hearing good reviews on here now planning on to going to see Nomadland at the pictures with herself this Friday. Frances Mcdormand is a brilliant actress and you can’t beat watching a decent film on the big screen.

Zico - If you like Redford look up An old man & the gun..was his last ever acting film and based on a true story about a bank robber. Also 'All is lost' when he is at sea alone on a small boat during a big storm.

A few years old but I stumbled across on Amazon Prime A Wall in the Woods with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte. Easy going light hearted comedy which I thought highly enjoyable.

The Woman in the Window is worth watching despite the so called expert critics giving it low marks. Like a modern day Hitchcock suspense film. On Netflix.
