In the age of the Spotify single it makes a change as this was written as a whole. They are a seven piece live (the female vocalist is borrowed from another band and isn't in the live line up sadly) but there are 32 musicians on the album credits and it shows - huge sound,"

I'm giving that album Age of the Fifth Sun by God is an Astronaut another listen as I don't like to dismiss an album without giving it at least two listens. not unpleasant but it doesn't really grab me. Probably down to the fact that I'm not overly keen on entirely instrumental albums

"zebthecat I'm following your advice and checking out some Major Parkinson on youtube. I am impressed. Very remindful of the Cardiacs, but the interplay of the male and female vocalists is a nice touch. That is something I've always liked with artists such as Ayreon and Mostly Autumn"
