Hamas attack Israel
"Or should i say they are attacking to get THEIR land back. Good luck to them. The World will watch and do nothing to help them as they always do, shame on us."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Look back in history. Towards the end of World War 11 The allies bombed Dresden killing 25000 plus women, children and the elderly citizen in order to defeat the nazis. Was it justified."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"I think you'll find my views have nothing to do with Aldolf Eichmann and are part of a rapidly-growing international consensus - the state of Israel has a duty to its own citizens and its allies to do everything possible to minimise civilian casualties and suffering as it pursues the elimination of Hamas. Meanwhile, you are an embarrassment to the site and the club."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
In the 1940s the the middle east country's copied the nazis an hounded the Jews. Which was quite ironic really as Hitler thought that the Arabs like the Jews were an underclass.

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"It is true that the Biden administration has pursued one very harmful policy for the whole world, and that is the trade war with China. Odd isn’t it that the GOP never seems to mention it though."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Coma, You’re one of the many fuckwits on here that was all in on Biden. No surprise you’re embarrassed now. Admit it, the world has gone to shit since he took office and it’s only going to get worse."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Collyrob You shared a video 4 or 5 days ago on this thread that said that Hamas goal wasn't too kill anyone, just trade the captured civilians for political prisoners and it was actually Israel who killed their own civilians. And I am the one with the bias?"

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Everything about the Netanyahu regime's plan for ""taking out Hamas"" indicates there will never be a ""proper leadership system"" to contact in Gaza, only more traumatised people with nothing to live for but the death of Israel. And that of course is exactly what Netanyahu and his nutjob party wants."

You found that funny Twundle? Jolly good - carry on supplying that material. You might eventually get the required care.
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Hammer I am 2:54 Fri Nov 3 Very good! I am sure a few on here would be supportive of that. Collyrob - Yes I am and no I do not have horns. Capitol Man I am in agreement with you, the settlements are a massive obstacle to peace. Albeit, I am of the view that even if there wasn't Israeli settlements there still wouldn't be peace as fundamentally a lot of Palestinians reject having two states. But yes, on the West Bank aspect Israel should do better. The Israeli's I know are not supportive of this policy and are not supportive of their Governments actions. Hence why there was a lot of civil unrest in Israel before the 7 October attack. In regards to Gaza and Hamas's control, my thoughts are that Hamas has been in power pretty much since 2005 when all Israelis were removed from Gaza and it was given back to the Palestinians to control it... in a hope for peace. Hamas has dominated Gaza since then and have probably got a stronger hold on it now due to Iran's backing. In regards to how Hamas came to power over the more moderate Palestinian Authority, I think it was a mixture of force at the time (killing their political opponents), them having the support of a significant percentage of the population there and the control they have over the rest of the population who just want to live a peaceful life. There will be no peace with Hamas in control of Gaza as it does not serve their interests. My hope is that once Hamas has been taken out, a proper leadership system can be put in place for both sides who have a common objective of peace and a two state solution can be formed."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"The Fonz 2:12 Fri Nov 3 Re: Hamas attack Israel Agreed in general that Hamas created this particular situation - but you need to look a bit broader than your point here. How did Hams come to power over the more moderate Palestinian authority. It's because the authority were not seen as delivering any tangible benefits. You only have to see the continued settlement of the West Bank and Netanyahu rolling back the two-state solution. No excuses for Hamas but you can't ignore the ever more extreme Israeli government actions which allowed Hamas to thrive, grow and dominate Gaza."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"There is a perfectly good reason why the sensible people on both sides tend not to look at things like the Hamas charter when working to reverse the conditions of terror. They are looking for common ground and a basis for cooperation - of course the Hamas charter immediately closes the door to that. And this is of course why those who want more violence are obsessed by each other, having absolutely nothing of value to offer as way out towards peace and normal coexistence."
