Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Should set out to win today after all we have had a good rest this week. PLUS they owe it to the c6000 fans who made the journey north on Wednesday, absolutely no excuses acceptable from the defensive turd if we don't really go for it! We do after all have c£500m of talent available which moyes appears to have forgotten!"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"We’d better fucking turn up today after throwing the midweek cup game. The lineup is predictable, let’s hope we actually press and create some problems."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Vexed - thanks for that Christmas cheer. Of course, you may well be right. But I can't help holding onto a bit of that wretched hope which is part of the curse of being West Ham, the hope that we'll conjure up a performance like the one against Wolves. Sir Alf - yes, Man Utd have been good away from home lately, but I just heard it pointed out on the radio this morning that actually, their away record against top half teams is really dire. Another reason for that damned hope..."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"The decorations to start coming down before Xmas started is highly possible. They are good on the road. Depends how they approach the game. If they come at us we might have a chance because we only score from direct / quick counter attacks. Set pieces have dried up as teams know that is one of our strengths are prepare for it. Soon as we see Soucek on the team sheet, we all give a heavy sigh and dampening of hope ensues."

"Early Christmas present for the mancs, Hoijland to score first prem goal, the West Ham way."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"I'll tell you what to expect exile son: 1) Pick a proper fucking lineup 2) Attempt to win the fucking game 3) Make correct substitutions at the correct fucking times I know what you're thinking ""but that's just what any professional football manager would do every game right?"" You're right in thinking that but Moyes has managed all three of these maybe once this season if that. He truly is one amateur fucking cսnt. What we will get: Negative team and formation, sit deep and try not to lose, Fornals on at 65 mins for Alvarez for unknown reasons and Ings on to try to rescue a point after the first sub left us wide open. Stick a fucking bet on."

You would think he would get after them today after throwing the cup game... If he doesn't I hope the crowd turn on him. But doubt they will . 12.30 kick off and Christmas.. Going to be like a morgue over there if we don't get going. Merry Christmas to you all...

"As tragic as Wednesday was maybe it is time to move on now? It's Christmas, Manu at home and a chance to go 6th. Need to see a reaction though. Suspect it will be back to the usual side with the worst footballer in the PL in the middle of the park. Also looks like Fabianski is back as no 1 now, and if I'm being honest I'm OK with that."

Well. Couple of early beers with an old friend I've not seen for a long while. Watch the football. Sing some songs. A couple of beers after then off to the Alps for a few days. Nice.

"Didn’t say it’s secondary, I just don’t over react like you lot, even since we moved I have seen worse or no better during this time, of course I get frustrated with Moyes but I’m more concerned a player can be doing tricks etc. and then can’t shoot or pass 10 yards."

"I’m sure no one wants to see crap football. I agree Moyes is better than BFS. It’s frustrating, there are quite a few good games, some good wins, Europe, a trophy, but too much crap as well. I really hope we have a good game tomorrow, we all know it’s possible. We’ll see what we get tomorrow."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"RM10 - if what happens on the pitch is secondary to you and it's all about the day out, that's fair enough good luck to you. But we're not all the same and I want to see us play to the strengths of our squad and we just don't. I do have a season ticket and I feel like I don't give a fuck about tomorrow... I don't want to feel like that but that's just how it is.. He's took any enthusiasm out of going."

""" the armchair supporter see more than ever and expect to be entertained"" again, you're doing this condescending super fan bollocks. I've watched us concede 5 & 6 at goodison, plenty of other shot results but most of those times/years (I stopped going before the biscuit money arrived), we didn't have lot to piss in so made the best of it. this cսnt, now has a squad of players that have over five hundred international caps between them yet he has no faith in them playing football. no desire in them imposing themselves on an opposing team, bar the odd game against what he sees as inferior teams. you, who's paying for a ticket should want better, especially when we have players like kudus, paqueta & bowen. I'm never going back over there, but I went to hundreds of games so stop with the armchair crap"
