"A key point to all this mistrust and confusion is that nobody knows what or who to believe any more. Covid is real, I had it and it put me in hospital. However the lies about the effectiveness of the vaccine was simply outrageous….. Fauci has a lot to answer for. There are so many conspiracy theories that have become conspiracy fact that people have now simply switched off from listening to our Governments and Governments have not only simply stopped telling the truth but put very little effort in to making the lies believable. So people now get their info on social media instead. The Press are even worse than the Politicians, everyone has a political agenda and even when caught blatantly lying they appear to get away with it. Wasn’t that long ago when truth mattered. That all changed when Hillary ran for President. Politicizing Gov’t Depts to go after your political opponents started under Obama. With the IRS attacks on Conservative groups. Now we have an administration that is openly and blatantly going after a political opponent and yet many on here and elsewhere appear ok with it. It’s a stay in power at all costs mentality irrespective of the destruction it is doing to the country that is the root of this evil, which is why we need term limits and accountability for all the lies and corruption otherwise the decay will continue and will further weaken the West. However saying all that mass migration is without a doubt the bigger threat to our way of lives. It has to be stopped as soon as possible and the migrants have to be deported. All this tolerance is quickly becoming surrender and is exposing us all to some serious threats. Unfortunately the very people that want to harm us and want to overthrow us know that our politicians are corrupt and can be bought just like our President and the people can be beat back by simply using a few labels, such as Racist and Islamaphobic to further their plight. The future looks bleak, especially if you’re white or even worse Jewish but it’s also bleak to all those that care about civil liberties crime and safety and our western way of life. And anyone who thinks that the Gov’ts haven’t lost control at this point are fooling themselves. I’m holding out for common sense to make a come back but it appears that there are just too many fuckwits and too many migrants. It’s a shame to see what has happened to London and other parts of the UK and that’s only the start. God help us all! We need it! What a fucking nightmare!"

"Imagine being so arrogant, egotistical, deluded, that you can have it pretty much confirmed that you were wrong about a subject as big as this, and STILL try to lecture those who were right all along to be dubious about the whole thing. You really do have to be a cosmic calibre of cսnt to be that narcissistic. Wow."

"""It was always so illiberal and Orwellian. The exercise of freedom and choice were extremely discouraged by the authoritarian state policies. Scandalous."" Very much so, and in hindsight it's scary how easily the population (inc myself) was kowtow'd. Not just here - all over the planet. I look at what happened in Canada for instance and am amazed by the actions of politicians."

"I only took the first 2 because I was living with vulnerable adult and my 2 kids. I refuse anymore, the flu jab also and the bowel screening also as I'm 60 now. The last thing I want is to come out a pharmacy with a bag of meds. So I've swapped margarine with butter. That's a start."

"Fucking hell why is WHO full of people that would have an argument in a phone box? I tell my story of Covid which casts doubts on the vaccine. The conspiracy theorists are always right after the event, have to argue the small detail of what is a true story of a failing with the vaccine FFS!"

Oh I see - you half-wits just want to get together and talk the usual bollocks about how you've been victimised in this context as well. I'll let you get on with that and join the normal people in the real world. Talking to them is a lot more interesting.

"Been keeping an eye on this. Like the Israel/Gaza war, the mass media really don't know which side to back. Once the chancers realised that this was an ideal gold dig for them, all they had to do is get the ear of those in authority and the (tax-payers (of the future)'s) money started rolling their way. Did I say rolling? Sorry, I meant Tsunamiing. Pay off a few decent communicators to carry a message just beyond the reach of most people's comprehension, but sprinkled with enough ""technical"" words to impress the very same people, and it was really ""Job Done"". From that moment on, it was government say ""Jump"", and the sheep bleat ""How High?"". For me, personally, it was when the mantra of ""Follow ""the science"""" appeared repeatedly that it became perfectly clear that they didn't even have a plot to lose, let alone lose it."

"I had it, like most, and my ''excuse'' was I thought it might stop me from travelling if not jabbed, that was the genuine reason as I couldn't really give a fuck about dying (as long as it's not too painful :) and certainly wasn't worried about catching Covid, whatever the fuck that was. I wonder how many parents now regret jabbing up their kids, who didn't even get the choice, bit scary that."

"Unfortunately, many of us at the time didn't have a choice but to get vaccinated due to the authoritarian policies deployed. Need to travel abroad for business? Want to go abroad for leisure after being locked up for 18 months? Want to visit friends or family abroad you have been unable to see in person for 18 months/ 2 years? Forget about it unless you show your ""proof of vaccination"" and wear your mask like a nice little drone. It was always so illiberal and Orwellian. The exercise of freedom and choice were extremely discouraged by the authoritarian state policies. Scandalous."

the vaccine obviously minimised Covid's effect on 99% of the population No it didn’t.

"Well my experience of Covid will gladden the hearts of all the vaccination conspiracy theorists. Always been healthy to the annoyance of many posters. However I digress, after my 3rd vaccination I suddenly became very ill with Osteo Arthritis. It was crippling. I had full body MRI scan, nervous system tests, arthritis specialists gave me all sorts of tests and pain killers but every test came back negative. That's right. I didn't have Osteo Arthritis according to every test they could give me but was in immense pain relieved only by pain killers. I then caught Covid from my wife. It was like having a cold but I tested positive for it so know it definitely was what I was vaccinated for - Covid. After that I started to get better and within a few weeks was much betters. Now a year later I am back to my normal full fitness as though nothing had happened. I've tried to get answers from the doctors that would just shrug and say they can't explain what happened. One young doctor did say off the record that they had had a few odd medical events like this and high blood pressures which was probably from the vaccine but, he would deny it if I repeated it... Having looked into it more deeply, I reckon that the vaccine obviously minimised Covid's effect on 99% of the population. The vaccine apparently preprogrammes immune systems to recognise Covid. It seems my reprogrammed Immune system decided I had Arthritis but only realigned itself once it really had Covid. I'll never again take an untested vaccine though..."

"Even China, Australia and New Zealand gave up on their mentalist policies in the end. The big story for me is the vast exchange of wealth from the middle classes to the billionaires. Its probably why Microsoft are spending $50 billion on server farms to get an edge on their AI capabilities in the NEXT YEAR."

"This years strain is pretty virulent - there are a lot of people at home with it here right now and we seem to be in a bit of an epidemic. However, the symptoms are nothing compared to the 2019-20 bug, which, if you still have a working brain, you will agree was rather nasty."

"I always thought we should have adopted the more practical and liberal Swedish approach to managing and living with covid. That approach has been proven right as it limited the impact on Sweden's economy. Instead, our useless politicians in the UK have adopted the Swedish liberal approach to immigration in recent years and have swamped our once great country with filth from all over the third world (as the recent Palestine supporting demonstrations highlighted)."

"I am not sure that our politicians being an incompetent shower of bastards is that much of a revelation. Jonhson failing to grasp an exponential curve or, indeed, anything mathematical is all you need to know about our political system. It is our collective fault that we vote in a bunch of ignorant chancers to run the country. We see it but they are still here."

"It's pleasing to see the tide turn regarding covid. They'll still be a few stubborn idiots, like Hamas & Pickled, Capitol They and joyo who'll refuse to believe they've been duped the whole way, but the people who I speak in the real world who bring up covid are gradually starting to realise everything involved with the response was a massive huge cock up. Most of the people ""inside"" the NHS have given up on pushing the narrative as well. I know nurses that worked on the nightingale units that aren't bothering getting vaccinated anymore and I don't even see On The Ball defending the vaccination process on here either anymore, which he used to do."
