I suppose we must be grateful for small mercies that he kept Bowen and Kudos in the starting lineup but knowing Moyes he probably did toy with the idea of replacing those two with Mavropanos and Phillips

Sorry - missed Philips lurking there on the bench. But the rest of my post still stands.

His idea of an attacking side is only one GK on the bench

"So after what happened on Thursday, he starts Zouma, benches Mavro and Philips not even in the side. Bowen out of position again - the bloke is an absolute charlatan."

"I think playing Johnson is a big mistake , Soucek should not be starting either, but may well score from a corner due to his height. Eat more potato salad my man."

Uninspiring starting line up. But worth it to see the meltdown on this site!

"If Aguerd is available, he should definitely be starting ahead of Zouma or Ogbinna. Also Ings central with Bowen back in his favoured wide role and Philips needs to be paired with JWP with Alvarez in the hole. Johnson ahead of Coufal also makes perfect sense. All of this is basic stuff but Moyes of course will have his own ideas that will result us turning in yet another disjointed, dispirited showing. We’ll be told not to speak out of turn by the usual wankers"

"I was hoping for more from Johnson against Bournemouth but he did nothing to stake a claim to be first choice RB, whilst allowing for the fact that the whole team played like a bunch of strangers. But as has already been pointed out, the advantage he has over Coufal is his pace, which could be crucial against Rashford. We could really do with some pace at the back today - anyone know if Aguerd is available?"
