Goal in the next 15 and it's on. But as likely to lose 5-1 with the way Lopetegui chases a game when behind

Fuck. Another terrible ball from Areola costs us possession.
We need a different profile of keeper to play this way.

I've only just realized we're away. during the first, I thought their away support was a little noisier than usual. That place is a morgue.

Bar Areolas distribution giving me fucking kittens, for the most part I was impressed with how we approached that 1st half, at times playing some slick, excellent 1st time passing. Since the last game, it looks like Lopetegui's style is starting to come through now and it's very encouraging if they carry on like this in the 2nd half. Try and keep these levels and quality up then we may well win it, as they do look vulnerable at the back.
Rodriguez having a very good game so far I thought.

12 corners conceded in the first fmob
hopefully spurs follow form and collapse in the second
I forget who we last played with just rodriguez holding, but I remember it being a similar issue where our midfield was nowhere to be found.
We're lucky to be level but oddly still anyone's match. We really need some halftime subs.

Re: West Ham United vs Spurs (Away) | 19.10.24 | Match Thread
I'd bring Paqueta off for Soler, Mavro on for Emerson.
Think Antonio has to stay on despite not being totally sharp, as he's the only forward we have with any body strength to make the out ball stick. The Füllkrug injury is killing us in this regards.

Well we probably would have taken one all at half time before the game and Spurs definitely give you chances but we need to get up in their box more. Soler for Paqueta seems logical on Lucas performance so far.

We've defended well, and and have had to. Also shown we can play out and create chances, Kudus the stand out for us. Not a bad game this, intrigued to see who comes out for second half. Probably lucky to be going into HT at 1-1. Paqueta should not be on too much longer if at all. Would like to see Summerville and Soler on.
