They continued to peddle their lies, over and over again, culminating at the weekend in making headlines out of a poll of 808 people in Iowa (population 3.2 million) suggesting that Harris was going to win there. CNN, NBC, ABC, MSNBC - the whole lot of them are - justifiably - a laughing stock. No different over here - the BBC, Sly News and everyone else pushing Harris hard, completely ignoring the truth. Even had people on here confidently predicting a Harris win. Brainwashed. When filed alongside the Welsh Christian in Southport and aspiring architect Chris Kaba, it's abundantly clear that THEY are the disinformation nowadays. An absolute shower.

From a UK perspective, I have to say I'm pleased. Right or wrong - can't be arsed to argue about it - Starmer has shown that he is an authoritarian, and believes wholeheartedly in a huge amount of government involvement and influence in ordinary people's lives. Harris/Dems are of the same mind, and the empowerment a partnership would have provided Starmer would have been very dangerous. There will, at least, be a significant counterbalance to that, and anyone who just wants to go about their daily life should be pleased.
