Hard to see this as anything but a mauling. Maybe Potter will pragmatically stifle them, but hard to see him going toe-to-to.

Shit. We’ve won once in our last 57 games there. That must be some sort of record. I knew it was bad but not that bad.
Also:
- Mohamed Salah has failed to score or assist in each of his last four Liverpool appearances, his longest such run since a four-game sequence in March 2021.
So we know what’s inevitably coming then don’t we.

I'll be at my granddaughters birthday party so will miss the Sala show. Would love to say that we'll ruin the party but the reality is we'll get thumped.
Be nice to restrict them to just couple of goals for a change.

its hard to expect Liverpool to fumble at home to us, especially after losing last week, but stranger things and all that. I'd be happy with a solid performance and not sitting back, trying to defend and surrendering 5-0 all the same as has been the case in some past games against this mob

I suspect we'll get the mauling we've been waiting for all season. 4-1 at best.
And if we do get a mention during the commentary Salah-fest it will be along the lines of us spoiling a "good" game.

Conceding less than 3 will be progress.
We’ve seen maybe 3 or 4 decent performances up there in 55 or more years. Our squad is painfully weak in central midfield which is where they are extremmely strong.
I would love anything but a defeat but everything points to a defeat.

Red Scouse must feel nobody is getting near them for the next couple of seasons. With the money saved with this. And not coughing up for Trent. Looks like a big splurge coming for them.

So little left for Liverpool to do to get them over the line there's a chance they won't be quite so focussed. So hopefully we are not going to get smashed again. Expecting a bit more fight from the team and we do win up there every 40 years or so. I am sure I have firmly clutched a straw with that post.

Looks about right but I fancy he'll have the German on the bench again. Hopefully he will continue to play Scarles, it's fair to say the jury is still out if he can make it at this level and with these dead rubbers it's the ideal time to find out.
