Mr Anon Indeed the BFI. I don't watch any reality shit or soaps as I'm asked how I have time with hectic (but far less these days surprisingly) life style. It's I guess it's my hobby. I written screenplays/treatments as well. Some people play golf....

"Caught Dark Waters yesterday. Horrific (true) story and very solid film with Mark Ruffalo good in the lead role. Not the most flashy of films, but the realisation at just how toxic and corrupt DuPont’s business was is shocking."

The Legacy of The Bones trilogy is good. Must make a trip to the Basque country. Vitoria-Gasteiz where it's mainly set looks beautiful

I downloaded a decent HD copy of Tenet. What a pile of shite. I'm starting to agree that Nolan has been shit since Batman 3 as I thought Dunkirk was pretty average as well.

Unknown Origins - Spanish movie on Netflix now. Some bits had me in stitches although not an out and out comedy.

"Ok, hands up, I was very rash with my Nolan comment. The Prestige is indeed superb, not sure about Memento, may watch it again. Thought Dunkirk was decent but no more than that."

I love the Batman films but watching them again you do realise the plots literally make no sense

"Finally managed to watch Le Mans '66. Not bad, and probably helped by the fact I knew fuck-all about the characters. Couldn't work out whether Christian Bales character was from Adelaide, Doncaster or Birmingham for the first 30 minutes. Swiss. 6:48 Sun Aug 30 Couldn't agree more, brilliant film."

"Watched the batshit mental Event Horizon for the first time the other night and it was great fun... whilst stoned. Not sure what I'd make of it sober. Either way, the special effects are quality for a horror/sci-fi flick that's 23 years old."

Tenet is amazing visually. But the story is too much of a mess.
