"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

This is one of the worst games of all time. Denver fans heading for the exits in mass after the colts kick a field goal to force overtime. Not even their own fans want to watch

Nurse Ratched's favourite NFL player has hung up the cleats. Former Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles says he 'quietly' retired https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34731582/former-jacksonville-jaguars-qb-blake-bortles-says-quietly-retired

Nutsin 6:53 Wed Oct 5 I would not count on the Saints beating anyone these days. Only the Dirty Birds' superpower of snatching defeat from victory prevents New Orleans from being 0-4.

"Burnsy, Yes top of the west with a 2-0 Division record. We will be 3-2 after this coming week after we beat the Panthers, while you're getting waxed by the Cowboys the Hawks lose at the Saints and the Eagles spank the Cards. I see the Rams losing more than they win this year with their o line play and Stafford choking. I look forward to keeping you posted""¶"

"Ha ha top of the west with a 2-2 record like the rest of the division, you absolute prick. Remember Niners have won 7 of the last 8 games against the Rams""¶..true but we won the one that really mattered and you crawled under a stone as usual. Last time I looked we are still Super Bowl champs and you're still a knobhead so all good."

"Burnsy you slag! Fuming????? Are you high? We just spanked u wankers and we're top of the west""¶.. It feels great baby! Remember Niners have won 7 of the last 8 games against the Rams. I will admit the loss in the monsoon to the Bears is one we would like back""¶.. Not surprised Russell Wilson beat us though, he usually does. But we have the best D in the league and have some injured players coming back soon""¶. I'm feeling quite happy, not only are the Niners finding their groove but the Rams are in turmoil""¶""¶ Bwahahahaha!"

Nutsy!!! You must be fuming? Your 49ers play the Rams like it's the Super Bowl yet can't beat lowly Denver or the Bears and when it really mattered you lost and Deebo balled his eyes out.

"Cowboys turn to bitch slap the Rams next. Hard to cheer for the Cowboys usually but this weekend will be an exception. I expect Stafford to crumble again""¶.."

"What a dominating defense the Niners have""¶. Completely owned the Rams, 7 sacks, 2 turnovers""¶""¶ Stafford fell apart towards the end, he's definitely overrated. Nice to see Deebo run over Ramsey too""¶. Feels good baby! Burnsey you slag!"

"Just watched the highlights of last nights game. Immensely satisfying beating the Rams, as always. Especially when they make Jimmy G look better than he is."

Would also help if Rams could defend against Deebo. His run killed me at the final stage in the fantasy match up this week.

"Shame we can't play against Stafford every week, man is an interception machine who gets out of the shit a lot thanks to the class of Kupp. When's Beckham back, Rams seriously need other options in the receiver dept?"

Absolutely with you regarding Turner. Have thought so since the beginning. I'm not sure our D was that good. Decent maybe but our edge runners are not getting home and our CB's who are top earners this year are jus not performing. Just pisses me off. To make matters worse my FF team are just woeful this year. Lucky to get to 50 points each week.

"holstebro, because I play dfs I pay quite a lot of attention to team stats and to be fair to del rio the defence has been pretty tight the last two games, especially against the run. It's scott turner that's the problem. the run was working great yesterday yet he went away from it. also another game where terry mclaurin didn't feature, this a bloke we're paying close to $25m a year. to put it in perspective about turner and his shit playbook, the detroit lions this season (four games) have scored thirty points as many times (three) as scott turner's offense has managed in two & a quarter seasons. he is abysmal and only in the job because of his dad's friendship with rivera"

"Absolutely Takishi, He and Del Rio both need to go along with Scott Turner. So frustrating. WENTZ only competed 2 passes of over 10 yards."

"Great comeback win for the Jets this weekend - with Zach Wilson looking like he might be coming of age, QB-wise, in his comeback from injury. 20-10 down in the fourth, Wilson rallied the team in the huddle. The senior pros are all saying how well the young QB coped with the pressure. Good sign. It's just one win for Zach (he was injured when we beat the Browns). But it's a good sign that the kid is improving. 2-2. That's enough for a party in New York these days..."

"Bad couple of days for QBs injury wise. Tua, a couple for the Patriots and both Giants QBs in a matter of minutes. I thought they were going to have to bring screamin' Willie Beamon off the bench. Barkley had to play the position. Ridiculous."

This year's Lions have been half-decent. 48 points away in Detroit and a W - that'll do nicely.
