May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.
Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?
Window this close season comes in two parts:
Part 1: 1st June to 10th June
Part 2: 16th June to 1st September
Maybe Casey and/or Orford on loan to them as well to reduce the fee

Being reported we’re finally making a move for Mateus Fernandes, if we could get him in and give them Ward-Prowse at the same time, that would be the best piece of business we’ve done in years
Lucky for you we haven't and aren't going to bid for him.
The " bids made" story on Hugh is also bow locks.
Other than the frees lined up no one is coming in for a fee until players are sold. Whilst there is interest in a few valuations and bids are miles apart.
At the moment it's looking like a desperate deadline day fire sale and then a manic Salthouse Supermarket sweep to patch up the squad unless the Isak domionos line up which they might if Newcastle sign Muniz to replace as there will be a huge chunk of cash left for...

If anyone can mess up a transfer deal its Sullivan. Short termism is his thinking. Short changing, like him everything comes up short.

Agree, I think clubs would take Areola but not at those wages
Not sure how long he has on his contract so maybe we use some of the fee to give him go away money like AWB got from Man U (£5m I believe)

Paqueta will be like a new signing.
However I have little faith that Sullivan won't try and cash in on him, probably for less than we paid for him as usual as can't see anyone offering more than 50m for him.
We always have to sell our best players (Bowen apart) They usually stay one or two seasons.
Always seems inevitable from the moment they sign that they will be off at some point in the near future. Seems to still be this small minded mindset that we can't keep our best players & build on them.
They usually end up unhappy and want to leave forcing us to accept bids lower than their value.
it's all down to Sullivan and his scattergun approach to signings & managers.
Smaller clubs manage to either keep hold of their best players or get top money for them & replace smartly with an unknown cheaper option who turn out to be as good & valuable as the ones they replaced. Simple but effective business model and long term strategy that has proven to work for clubs like Brighton, Bournemouth & Brentford, all now top 10 clubs. Forest & Villa also overtaken us despite them both being in the Championship recently but are now being run smartly. How did Forest keep Morgan White Gibbs? If he was our player he would have gone at the end of 23/24 season after 2 years.
Same model applies to managers at these clubs.
We're stuck with Sullivan and his dinosaur barrow boy methods & agent mates. Constant rebuilds & sell to buy.
I can't believe how unlucky we've been with owners and that no one better ever wants to buy us. Why not, we are one of the biggest clubs outside of the top 6 or 7, in one of the best locations in the world with a large & loyal fanbase.
The club has massive potential which has never been reached, and any success we do have is not sustained or built on.

No idea what this ‘formal approach’ to Leicester for Hermansen is but hopefully it isn’t the usual Sullivan bullshit of half of his value
Saw we are also interested in the 20yo Sheff Wednesday keeper Pierce (Prince?) Charles
Obviously they aren’t paying their players & in massive financial problems
Foderingham is a squad filler / 3rd keeper so we need a second keeper hopefully on the cheap
In that scenario the biggest problem will be getting rid of Areola on £125k a week

Not yet he fucking aint! And I've got high hopes for Marshall but nowhere near Fergusons ability right now. We really did miss a trick and could see it coming.
In what game for us were you blown away by Fergusons ability?
Last season we could have had the second coming of R9 upfront and he’d still look shit. I wouldn’t rush to judge any striker playing in that system.

I think it was a really smart decision to allow a decent young Striker to leave the Club when we do manage to rarely stumble across one. Evan Ferguson will continue to haunt us. Sullivan has THE worst track record for Strikers.
Thick as fuck Management. Didn't even give him a proper chance and now looks like regaining his old form that he was always capable of for Roma. Our loss is now there gain.
Callum Marshall is better than Ferguson

Looks like a GOALTENDER who had 1 clean sheet all season (Hermansen), and a STRIKER who scored 0 goals all season (Callum fucking Wilson) are next through the door.

Hello all,
New to the forum.
Been a supporter since about 1984. Don’t get to many games these days.
I would like to see us sign a proper commanding centre half. We clearly also need a new keeper.
Fauxstralian wrote: ↑31 Jul 2025, 15:01
Leicester have signed Asmir Begovic on a one year deal
More likely to let Hermansen leave now I suppose
Need to get the signing of one keeper done by the time we return from America
Too many little things seem to be falling into place for this transfer not to happen. Them signing Begovic, our new GK coach etc. If so yes, we just need to get it done quickly with no dithering or pissing about from Sullivan trying to play silly buggers.
Got to get a midfielder or two in next, and let a couple go, and go after a striker that isn't Callum Wilson. Wouldn't mind a young CD as well but provided Aguerd stays after all we are probably OK there although it does allow us to part ways with one of them if we want to.
