"They don't want West Ham to lose Manuel, they want Moyes gone so a draw would do, this is a pivotal match in our season and one of the few where the owners may say it's the last straw.....and he's gone......it has to be this round as we got past them easily in the group stage......so he'll have no excuses as it will be his set up from the first game that gets us knocked out.......if he wins and goes in the next round the teams left will be no shock to go out to."

"I want him gone but don't want us to lose tomorrow, which some obviously do. Chances of us winning it are very low, and we would need someone else to beat Liverpool, as there is more chance of Elvis Presley being referee tomorrow night as we have of beating them. It's practically zero. Two months left and nobody still has a clue if he's staying or not, and that probably includes Sullivan too."

"I think arguably one of the biggest condemnations of the Moyes effect is the number of empty seats in the ground over the last few games, Sunday's game wasn't even a TV fixture and yet there were 1000's of empty seats everywhere, even the Burnley fans were put off with the whole upper tier empty. FFS we're even struggling to fill the bowl for Thursay night"

"ED. Yep, exactly my stance on the situation. I would gladly accept the season limping along till the end if it meant that Moyes fucked off at the end of the last game of the campaign. If his brand of 'football' was successful then I guess many would accept it if it meant the trophy cabinet being filled with more than just dust but in all his years in management he has a 3rd rate trophy to show that he is a 'winner'. Funny thing, I speak to many non West Ham fans and they can't understand why I want him out but when I ask if they'd want him at their club they say no way. Like you, I no longer enjoy watching us and I'm now at the point where if he is still in charge come August, I won't be watching us again until he is gone."

"Lee Trundle 2:12 Tue Mar 12 Oh was that the Europa League where by end of Jan the players looked knackered and the squad was looking thin and the club bought in........ Nobody. I remember it well. As you say, we had our chance. That's gone."

"Given the way we're playing and tumbling down the league, and looking at who we've got to play and who's below us in the league, if snatch your hand of for a 9th place finish. We don't be winning the Europa League. That time was a couple of years ago when we had the luck of the draw and it was much easier than it would appear now."

"only1billybonds 1:38 Tue Mar 12 My daughter loves her football and I have taken her four times this season. At home to Everton. Played shit and lost 1-0. At home to Bournemouth. Played shit and drew 1-1. At home to Bristol City. Played shit and drew 1-1. At home to Brighton. Played shit and drew 0-0. Crowds were flat. Not alot of excitement. Not much going on at all. She's loved it because she loves it in the pubs first and having lunch or dinner out. But her mates support Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and they are all buzzing about the football. Moyes is not doing much to gain a new generation of fans. So yes, anything to get him out. The relationship between him and the fans is now untenable."

"100% I'd take that, bondso. I don't enjoy watching West Ham anymore, be it in Europe or whatever. It's bores the fucking pants off me, winning is a big shrug, losing is a big shrug. I'd rather be out of Europe and enjoy watching West Ham games again next season. No guarantee a new manager does that, but I know for a fact I won't enjoy it if he's still here. Easy decision."

Come on Moyes won't drop his main man Soucek so he'll shove Paqueta out on the left to accommodate him in the middle. I hope he doesnt... but I just cant see it. Id play Antonio up top with Bowen and Kudus Paq behind them.. once Antonio has softened them up bring Ings on...

"Hypothetical question. Let's assume that if him getting a new contract depends on us being in Europe again next season, would you take finishing 9th in the league and getting knocked out of the EL if it meant getting rid of the cսnt?"

I like the team Russ but Mubama has done nothing to warrant selection and he's off at end of season.

"Dropping Alvarez (yes he was dropped) who has been our best central midfielder this season, the best creative central midfielder we've had since Brooking, Paqueta, being played on the left wing, the best right winger we've had in the Prem, Bowen, being played up front. Aguerd & Zouma, blatant Moyles picks, £75mil for the pair, one signed injured and the other couldn't defend in the women's league. It's astonishing that he still has so many backing him."

"If we lose Thursday and then go one down against Villa then it really might turn at that point, but I think we will win Thursday, as long as we score first."

Surely the employment of Moyes' son has to be the ultimate piss take. Definitely getting his new contract now. How the fuck can this happen?

Steady 10:41 Tue Mar 12 Go with Ings then mate. Let him see what he can do with bodies around him rather then being isolated.

Against certain teams I would probably even only play Alvarez as our DM and either push JWP up with Paq or even play Soucek and drop JWP but tell Soucek to get up there and make a nuisance of himself.

Massive Attack: I'd go one step further. If I was made West Ham manager my first team would be: Areola Coufal Mavro Aguerd Emerson Ward-Prowse Alvarez Paqueta Bowen Mubama Kudus I'd tell JWP to sit back in tight with Alvarez to defend the back four when the other team have the ball. And use Paqueta as the outlet. But when we attack he must push up and be the option for if we need to turn and start again to maintain the momentum. I'd say to Paqueta free role in the hole. I'd tell Bowen and Kudus to cut inside and swap as they feel it benefits and tell the full-backs to push on when we have the ball top create the overload.
