A must win game and he goes without a recognised striker. Fucking hell.

I think this is the most important game of the season so far. Especially as Manure may well drop points tomorrow. We have to win this and I think we will. Surely we are due some fortune and an easier result that doesn’t wreck your head right up to the final whistle? we just haven’t had hardly any this season. If we lose I think Europe via the league is over or as near as and we could end up mid table. COYI.

"Mex - We've won 3 games from the last 16, so I really don't think we need an excuse to not to win? We are very good at not winning games of football, regardless. Lost 20 league games last term."

"Same again, with JWP dropped and Alvarez in. Difficult not to have an eye on Leverkusen."

"4 leage games without a win, 3 wins in our last 16.. Brentford, Everton and Freiburg. Including Bristol City twice, Sheff Utd and Burnley who we failed to beat. Not sure how anyone could be confident after that or backing Moyes because we're 7th... Just the extra 4 points that beating Sheff Utd and Burnley would have given us would have us in a much stronger position."

"Yep, HAVE to get back to winning ways, three without a win, 2 measly pts from 9. You can fuck off with a draw, not interested whatsoever, win or fuck off."

"A must win game for many reasons but I fear Moyes will snatch defeat from the hands of a victory as usual. I watched his press conference yesterday and he is one fucking deluded wanker, he does realise we are fans and watch the football right ?"

"Personally think that Paulo Fonseca would be a good choice. Doing good things at Lille and is an attacking manager. In his own words: Fonseca described his managerial style as ""an offensive play in order to overcome the opponent, to settle in the opponent's half and to create many scoring chances."" That would make a pleasant change..."

"Eric Roy has got unfancied Brest to 2nd in the French league when they were among the favourites to go down. He is 56 years old, this is his first season managing Brest and his only previous managerial experience was Nice for one season 14 years ago. Would you take a chance on him?"

Chris Sutton reckons this game will end one all. There are grounds for optimism then.

"RM10 6:18 Fri Apr 5 That's the point though mate. fraser gets it. Alonso wasn't really on any of our radars 18 months ago. Neither was Amorim who appears to be talking to the scouse. It's not our job to find and appoint them. By all means chuck names and opinions around to pass the time, but don't expect a fan to really know. It just isn't our job, any more than its our job to unearth the latest African gem via Norway.so there's no point throwing down that particular gauntlet As an aside, Nutsack is singularly the densest person on here... and by some distance. It's fucking embarrassing"

Nutsack Thats rich coming from the resident WHO village idiot... and sorry as everything seems to have to be explained in single syllables for you I assumed you'd got the wrong end of the stick... Oh and you dont appear to have any sort of sense of humour so difficult to judge...

"Oh Silly Billy, where did I say it was the supporters job? I was mocking Oracleman for stating the obvious ffs. You can’t really be this slow Billy surely? I’m starting to get a Forest Gump feel about you. Which if I’m correct I am truly sorry for mocking you and I will stand down."

H&P Carrick and Boro not exactly ripping up the Championship... Id maybe take McKenna the Ipswich boss maybe but he too has no top flight or European experience..

Solidbond - I would love to see Kudus played there but not at the expense of playing Paqueta out of position.

"Billy - maybe Carrick’s skill-set would be right given Steiten’s established status on the transfer side? His lack of top-flight experience doesn’t so much extend to football and tactical matters given his playing long career. Yes I know Gerrard, Lampard etc were flops but maybe he’s already proved himself at Middlesbrough in this respect in a highly competitive league …"

"Nutsack Yet again you miss someones point Onsideman this time just to have a go at him and make yourself look like a cսnt. We do not need to have a name of a replacement manager in order to get rid of one that needs to be offloaded, because the club employs Direcors of football who's job it is to do so... not really sure why you think its the supporters job. Like I said makes you look like a know nothing cսnt which is exactly what you are."

Carrick has no real experience at any top level... would be too risky.

"Onsideman- I’m not against changing the manager, I just wonder which manager will be up to expectations. Carrick is a risk. I don’t like the Brighton manager myself."
