My hope is a top half finish in his first season. My dream is a great cup run or better still into Europe in any way. My reality is a struggle to hold on to the few players we ideally want to keep and mid to lower finish unfortunately. Gonna take anyone at least 2 seasons to restock the squad blood the youth properly and implement his style.

I’m suggesting recent events indicate Sullivan no longer has the last say on the board.

While Sullivan has final say we are going to be limited in all aspects of running a successful and progressive football club.

I think the club is starting to turn to a new direction. Kretinsky will probably end up as the majority shareholder eventually. The installation of Steidten and a slightly more progressive manager in Lopetegui are signals. I'd expect Kretinsky has looked at the Red Bull business model rather than the Newcastle or Man C models.
