I said not entirely true...you are probably right about what Nenyahu wants. However bear in mind that this will.probably be his last stand. Right now he is all.the more dangerous because he'll know a). How unpopular he is among Israelis and b). I think I am..right in saying the courts haven't finished with him yet. Right now he probably sees this the only time he is ever gonna have chance of getting what he wants but will know he has to try to.get hostages out first if it can.be done. The bloke is a nutter. But show me where I have said anything other than that.

They destroyed the infrastructure and started attacking Israel immediately. The blockade was the response and is about stopping anything entering Gazza that can be used to make weapons and explosives which is quite a comprehensive list. Despite the rumours food and other essentials are not prevented. People also overlook that Egypt also keeps the Rafah crossing closed for the same reason and to stop Muslim Brotherhood terrorists out too. They have even built a wall.

"Fifth, there plenty out on the streets and driving around London and around the world celebrating the attacks on the day they happened. Then before Israel had even counted and buried its dead, and were still discovering bodies & that more & more had been kidnapped there were large pro Palestinian protests and vigils. Completely inappropriate behaviour that to any rational person looks like support for terrorists."

"Solid, Israel left Gaza in 2005, pulled all its citizens out, left infrastructure, then Hamas were elected and the infrastructure left by Israel was destroyed. The hostages are a tricky one. It's surely impossible to launch a ground invasion and rescue all the hostages alive. Lot of talk of talks and deals to free them but I can't see Hamas releasing them all as it's their only card, can see maybe the civillians being released but the military ones kept and will be seen as collateral damage for Israel."

Israel would prefer to level Gaza with the Israeli hostages there than to take them back with Gaza in tact. This was never about the hostages this is all about taking more land and eradicating the Palestinians. A Palestine-free Gaza is Netanyahu’s dream come true.

"People saying things like ""it's amazing how LGB+ lot are right behind Hamas""... do you really believe that? Surely you know it's a lie to claim that protesting against Israel killing thousands of civilians is the same as supporting Hamas? I'm genuinely curious whether you actually believe the stuff you're posting?"

I was reading in the Standard last night that there’s rising gay bashing and intolerance. I’m guessing this is coming from certain demographics. Nothing was said about who was doing the bashing. The people interviewed said they would no display their gayness openly in public except at an event etc. to be honest open gayness has never been huge except in certain places. All that said I’m sure they have moral standards about children dying no matter what the religion they were born into.

I think some do but don't seem to care when it comes to hating Israel which ironically is the only place in the region where they are free. There was that LGBT group on the London pro Pal march that were abused by some Islamists. It's crazy the double standards on display from both LGBT and the Islamists.

"Yep, that's Hamas for you, they want Palestinians to suffer and die, great PR for them. They knew what Israel's response would be, yet tens of thousands Islamists and wet liberals across Europe are flag waving for them."

"Never liked Netanyahu, power mad narcissist who will do anything to stay in power, has done damage to Israel that will take a generation to get over. Should have been taken out by now, the cսnt! The Oct 7th attack was timed to stop Israel normalising relations with Saudi, they are the Arab power in the region, had that happened it was game over for Iran and their terrorists in Gaza."

The new peace process is gonna start with Benny up before the very Supreme Court he has been trying to hamstring to avoid justice. It will lead to a new Two State solution but the first steps will have to be exactly those the current regime in Tel Aviv fears the most.
