"Awful, ugly film, don't watch. A lot more depressing than about a bloke in a clowns mask, but Pagey may disagree."

"""The Aus film Once were warriors is the same."" I've not seen Nil By Mouth, but I agree Once Were Warriors is a terrible film with no redeeming qualities."

"Well okay, but you seemed a bit angry just over a fictional film? Bit weird imo. So I'd say you were the one looking for attention, and even compared it to posters on a football forum? Haha..I know you are a 'last word' poster, so you crack on with your rebuttal, son."

Meltdown? Someone’s after a bit of attention again.

"Calm yourself down, Pagey, proper meltdown that was, and just over a film? I put off watching Joker as read (mainly on here) that it was really depressing, but when I did watch it I didn't think so at all really, enjoyed it, and there has been many films about mental health, Joker is hardly the only fucking one is it?? I've always thought the most depressing (fiction) film I've ever seen is Nil by Mouth, just a really ugly, grim film about a thug beating his wife up with no redeeming features whatsoever. The Aus film Once were warriors is the same."

The Gentlemen was entertaining if you don’t overthink it. I wasn’t expecting much but it was highly watchable. Especially over some of the proper poncy shit we’ve had over the last couple of years. I include Joker in that. If I wanted to spend a couple of hours watching some miserable prick have mental health issues I’d just log onto here.

Hmm. Somewhere in the south anyway. I expected him to be wearing dungarees and with a toothpick in his mouth.

"Jesus I can't believe some of you thought The Gentlemen was good. Watching Hugh Grant trying to do a gay cockney accent was like watching nails down a blackboard. Terrible script and every gangster cliche in the book. Had to turn it off after half an hour and will never watch a fucking Guy Ritchie film ever again, no matter if I am in lockdown forever. Seen better film on teeth."

"I thought Craig sounded exactly like Spacey in House of Cards, which I think is supposed to be a Carolina accent, not Texan."

Watched Knives Out last night. A really enjoyable whodunnit with Daniel Craig with the most ridiculous Texan drawl.

"ted - Yes it's a bit like a B movie, but thought it was a good easy to watch old fashioned cops vs the bad guys flick. 'The Good Liar' I really liked, superb acting from Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren."

"Watched Parasite and The Gentlemen recently. Parasite was okay but no way worthy of the Oscar. I preferred The Gentlemen which was enjoyable. Colin Farrell was really good in it. Just finally got around to watching Django Unchained. Thought it started off really well but I started losing interest towards the end, it was good but probably half hour too long,"

"Watched the latest Terminator film last night and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, typically corny and action filled at the same time. And Linda Hamilton... I'd still let her give me one."

"If you like Crowe then Master and Commander, One of my all time favs... England is under threat of invasion, and though we be on the far side of the world, this ship is our home. This ship is England. So it's every hand to his rope or gun, quick's the word and sharp's the action. After all, Surprise is on our side. HUZZAHHHHH"

Prime are offering 48 hours rental on Le Mans 66 for £2.99 which is very reasonable if you don’t mind paying you snidy cheapskates.
