"whatever! The painfully slow reactions of the WHO server certainly seems to be the final death throes of WHO. Whenever I come on to read transfer gossip the endless waits invariably sends to me to read KUMB. Then satisfied by reading KUMB's transfer news, I return to find repeat posts and little informative transfer news. It hardly inspires new posters to continue on WHO. Shame really because I shall miss it once it has gone I suppose..."

"Wednesday at bench is Samogon day, when the Samogon has finally reached its peak maturity of seven days and the gopniks combine it with exotic mixers such as Monstar or Primp local energy drinks. Good times."

"Can think of quite a few who have, of late, lost all their mirth, and it goes so heavy with their disposition that this fine canopy of a site (look yea this brave overhanging) seems to them nothing but a foul and postulant congregation of proper West Ham United fans. Oh dear how sad what a shame never mind"

"Many years back, WHO went down for a few days. Some WHOers went over to ITBS asking repetitive questions ""Does anyone know what's happened to WHO? It's gone down"". The ITBS owners very swiftly added a chat room thread on their site just for temporary refugee WHOers. Of course, the ITBS lads were getting due praise for being helpful and neighbourly. Made me chuckle. I suspected it was more in the way of establishing a cordon sanitaire."

"In a moment of pissed up madness, I tried to whip up support for an invasion of a Jokerit forum, unmitigated hatred for their club, because of some pointless and non consequential decision from the ref, in our game with them. Just to see the Finnish reaction One of those things that make sense at 3:00 am on a Saturday morning, but then you wake up the next day hoping it's slipped well down the page."

"Correction, it was a ramblers site as opposed to hikers, I imagine there's a clear distinction with the two. Someone from here started a new post on it, along the lines of 'I fancy an intermediate ramble this weekend. Nothing too strenuous, maybe down the paper shop and back, any recommendations, provisions, essential gear etc?' Simpler times."

I remember it as a religious forum. Making the profanity and banter even more impactful. That said we were all banned within an hour.

The host would not get involved unless the site gained such notoriety that its hand was forced to protect its brand. This site would remain a dark corner of the internet where freedom of speech reigned supreme unless the mods started to force us to put pronouns in our usernames.

I think its the laws of where the server is based but I assume you could sue the owners.
