Straw Poll: Would you sack Moyes if we lose to Forest?

That would be four league defeats in a row and five without a win. Would that be enough for you to pull the trigger? YES OR NO.

Maybe they could use his tactics to sell even more season tickets…..PAY OUT THOUSANDS TO WATCH THE OTHER TEAM HAVE THE BALL AND PLAY FOOTBALL…..

"yes, it's far more enjoyable if the other team has the ball"

"“I agree football is not good at times, but what Moyes is doing is what we should be doing, we just need more attacking coming from better ball control from the back. Possession football isn't going to work and wouldn't be more entertaining.“ Huh?"

"I'd give Moyes to the end of the season. I think we'll win next 2 games and do ok in the easier run we have coming in Premier. I agree football is not good at times, but what Moyes is doing is what we should be doing, we just need more attacking coming from better ball control from the back. Possession football isn't going to work and wouldn't be more entertaining."

"Moyes wont resign too stubborn, he will continue to stink the place out like a foul smelling, steaming pile of turd that won't flush even if poked with a stick."

"Pastry. Go and bake some cakes. If he was half a good a manager as you and others think we would have won the EL. The weakest last 4 ever. This year will probably consist of Liverpool,Newcastle,Barcelona and Milan. CL football and he would have built the team around Rice. No the git couldn't look beyond the low block. I despise the gollum Jock."

"Probably about a million quid to get rid of him now That's about half a place in the Premier league, get rid and get the new manager in before the transfer window to start building"

"He should have gone last season well before the Conference cup. Problem we now have is he is showing he knows no other way to play. He tried to be a bit more expansive moving Rice forward more, putting Paqueta in as his creative man in the no 10 position but did not see it’s a team thing to press and move etc and he didn’t realise Paqueta had been playing as a deeper no 8 at Lyon until he watched him playing fir Brazil. Kept Soucek and Antonio did not see the need for replacements etc too. He hit the buffers at Xmas 2021/22 after his counter attack game was sussed and hasn’t been able to do anything about it. His cluelessness is evidenced by the players he wants. Older, always no pace and size or physicality always preferred to technique ( passing control and skills ). He’s now officially Caretaker Manager. What an incentive for him and the players !!! 26 weeks and he’s gone"

"The longer it goes the more of the season we waste and the more of the great players we waste before some inevitably leave in the summer (if not January). We should have shaken his hand after the Europa win. Plenty said it, plenty said he deserved another year when it was clear he isn't a good manager, especially in the league."

"I completely I understand why people would say yes to this. Ideally I'd like to give him the end of the season in the hope he can get us into the top 8 and a euro QF/SF. And then we say goodbye on good terms and we move on. I feel there has been a lot of postives in his tenure as well as frustrations, particularly over the last 12 months. So, no, I wouldn't sack him after Forest, I'd give him to Xmas."

No you wouldn’t - because I’d have sacked him first.

He's completely hit the wall at this club . And the whole clubs in a state of limbo because of it . Sullivan wants rid that's obvious. All the leaks to claretandhugh are being done in order to try and make him walk . As the dwarf dosent want the media criticizing him if he did sack him . Shambolic way to run a club . But no surprise with Sullivan in charge.

"Why do I have to wait for that? I can vote now. Time to go Moysey thanks for the trophy and digging us out of the shit, but you are stifling our youth and breaking some of assets."

"scott_d 3:16 Tue Nov 7 Decent post that. Sums it up without too much detail. Just to add, we've seen it all before and for many supporters now its ""Here we go again!"" We've been on this ride a few times now and its getting tedious. I just want rid of him for the sake of going through all the same fucking pain i can see on the horizon."

"I get your point Nutsin, there are definitely positives and he's definitely given us some moments since he's been here. I actually agree that we look willing to spend more then usual, we have a decent team, and there are some good foundations at the club right now, some of which you have to credit Moyes. But on the flip-side, he seems to be the one that is desperately holding us back from taking any further steps forward as a football club. His lack of ability to manage a game, to go on the front foot against newly promoted minows... at home, his in-game management with so few and so predictable substitutes, his player management, his lack of willing to give any of our youngsters an opportunity, even when senior players are massively under-performing and still getting in the starting line-up. It will never be perfect, there will always be something we are not happy with and some of those you can forgive if he got the rest right, but it's an accumulation of poor decisions and poor management that is now overshaddowing the success he had in the European Cup. Let's face it too, Quarter Finals of the League Cup is nothing to shout about when you only need to win 2 games to get there. It would be different if we saw improvements but not results. But the last 3-4 games in the league, we've looked as awful and negative as we were this time 2 years ago and ever since. There are no signs of improvement so how can we expect it to be any different going forward?"

we wont get anything from Spurs and Liverpool because Moyes is already mentally defeated and we'll set up not to lose too badly or scrape a point.

Alvarez and Piqueta served their ban so they should be back. I’m not writing them off yet. Kudus and Bowen are playing well too.

Why are you talking about the spurs and liverpool games they are light yesrs ahead of us because of Moyes. Forest on sunday is our level st the moment and no real conviction we will even beat them. Sack the dinosaur now.

"No, you’re wrong Billy boy! That tin pot cup gave us quite a knees up! Nice to celebrate knowing Spurs and Millwall are watching. Some great nights in Europe have been had too, so good for the travelling fans! Say what you want but the club is showing ambition too, they’re splashing the cash again. However they’re not being frivolous. I liked our last transfer window. I expect there to be bumps on the road. Our counter attacking football isn’t bad to watch either. But I agree mistakes have been made,"

Well Nutty boy... you are wrong... he is wasting our time and money its just prolonging the agony watching our god awful anti football... Ultimately he is a dead man walking and this will be another season wasted... if he stays till the end of the season we will be lucky that there are 4 teams worse than us and we'll be lucky if the likes of Paqueta and Kudus stay.. it must be even more soul destroying playing under Moyes as it is to watch it!

"We got to the semi final of the Europa league the year before and look set to have another chance at a run. Quarter finals of the Carabao cup is also something to consider. I do agree with a lot of what you say Billy boy, just net ready to pull the plug just yet. Would love to be right here!"
