The correlation that interests me is that the people who seem most exercised about the current levels of immigration are largely the same people that have voted in the governments that laudably failed to curb the influx.

If we didn’t have three quarters of a million extra people here every year we wouldn’t need so many doctors nurses quantum physicists and all the other highly skilled dinghy surfers paying two grand a pop
